In the morning standing outside the Union station today, some lunatic druggy lady comes up to me asks me if I have a cigarette and when I said No, she spit on me and ran away. So disgusting.
Then, I get to work and have grades posted for the class I never really studied for or went to class and got a C. I never get a C even if I don’t study. also, disgusting.
bummer!
Don’t you all have those weird start of days which upsets you the rest of the day. I just had to talk about it like a teenage girl out here!
No man…that lady looked and acted out of her mind…demented. I had seen her previously running around Toronto Union station talking to herself and screaming " I wanna die". It didn’t get me mad..i just got disgusted…and amused. If someone in their right mind did that, id be offended, and confront them!
No, Toronto Union station. You are right! I should actually study just a little bit more.
but that instructor was tough grader…she one of those ladies in her early 40s who never got married, and is a bit of cynic and successful in their career and bitter in their world view. lol
Eeeekk I don’t know how I would’ve reacted… I can’t handle germs, so someones spit would outright gross me out. I hope you have a better day today! Study harder, maybe your prof knows you don’t study and still manage to get good grades. Maybe he/she wants you to put in the effort.
Good luck!
I washed that jacket a couple of times…and even though i couldn’t see anything on my scarf with the naked eye..i have guaranteed that scarf until I thoroughly wash it in the machine after hand washing it…it was gross indeed
That is ridiculous. Islam does not prevent us from congratulations on special days or events.
Just because Rasulullah, sallallahu alaihi was sallam, did not say ‘mubarak on your hifz’, shall we say it is bidah to congratulate a Hafiz?
Because the Sahaabah never said 'Eid Mubarak - shall we say it is bidah to say so?
And even if these were somehow bidah, Muslims have a great deal more to worry about than trivialities.
Arabs commit a great deal of bid’aat that is more dangerous because of their mindset of what Arabs do, is automatically Islamic. Shaking hands after the salah and chanting the takbeer out loud during the days of 'eid are things Arabs have turned into actual rituals and ibaadaat. Yet these are small things and there are bigger issues…far bigger.
A bid’ah had a realm of worship about it. Wishing each others congratulations on special days is not being done as a ritual, worship, or necessity.
So seriously chill with your KSA -inspired bid’ah fingerpointing. Arabs cry a lot about bidah but they’re certainly mired badly in it.
The Arab revolt and siding with the Brits to kill Muslims was probably the worst bidah ever - and the entire modern Arab world is based on its ideology.
