Unless, ofcourse SM is making a movie to present the positive side of tableeghi jamaat or something.
This is sachi news Faisal. Other day in an interview @ ARY ( I guess program was INSIGHT) , JJ was telling that this is the first time in his life that Shoaib Mansoor has asked for something from him and he cant not deny a person who was always behind him in achieving so many goals.
According to JJ this is going to be one heck of a positive movie bur he denied telling the details for obvious reason.
So is he gonna shave is foot long beard again? I don't think so. It ain't happening this time buddy. I saw him last month on PTV on a telethon for Tsunami. He has become 100% pakka tabkleeghi MashAllah sai.
Yeah, I remember seeing him in that telethon, and he looked like a committed religious person, who'd add multiple insha allah, masha allah and subhan allah in each sentence. Maybe SM can write a special role for him in which he plays some kind of stern father bringing his wayward son towards God's way.
Ali Zafar in the movie? It's going to be horrible now. ANd Junaid Jamshed would never come in a movie, specially not now. And Ali Zafar doesn't deserve to have Iman Ali opposite him in anything.
I wouldn't die of a heart attack if i ever see junaid jamshed back in the entertainment industry. Wasn't moin akhtar or someone supposed to be a "pakkah tableghi" aswell? Yet i see him on TV regularly nonetheless. And i seriously hate when artists of any sort do it. Like this "holier than thou" bull s**t would be certainly more selling if they weren't millionaires out of the entertainment industry. Its not like he made a huge sacrifice in the first place. His music career was as good as over anyways, with his best days behind him. Isnt it a bit late to realize that he has been in the wrong career all along?
People, Shaoib Mansoor and Junaid have been working closely for the last two decades. I'm sure Junaid would do a movie if Shoaib Mansoor were to ask him to. I have an inkling that the role he is playing is close to what he is currently involved in i.e tableegh and all.
Ali Zafar has a lot of talent. And if its SHoaib Mansoor, he has to have that acting spark in him!
And Imaaaaaaaan...God, cant really wait till she shows up on the silver screen!
Though, I think Shaan could have a side role of some sort in this film, I read in that Images article that he is going to be there at the London shoots....so maybe he's not out after all!
Really looking forward to watching this movie. Hope it turns out to be a blockbuster!

And no, there are Punjabi/Pushto and at times Sindhi movies in Pakistan. But Urdu is what the mainstream cinema has been about for the larger part of our history
It is the story of two brothers of opposite nature. One is releigiuos (most probably will be played by Junaid) and other is care-free typical exuberant young fellow (will be played by Ali Zafar by the sounds of it).
