Ya we have seen that Freedom, anyone can hurt anyone.. and that is called freedom... atleast in Saudi.. no body is allowed to hurt anyone or feelings of any particular community..

Brother, don't you think a woman should be punished for heinous crime like Adultery or losing virginity before marriage as per laws of Al-Sunnah or Holy Quran? What is wrong in that? We can not move in a different direction if we keep copying western countries. What was the point of demanding a muslim country in the first place? Quaid wanted Sharia and was shocked to see Pakistan not implementing it after the independence. Similarly, a woman in Hijaab looks better than in mini-skirt.

I donno if practices such as flogging, unilateral verdict on rape and adultery cases, 4 witnesses etc are just practices or specified in Quran. Either case these should be banned.
It is indeed very sad to see Pakistan go down this way. I won't ever understand how any of you can treat your own mother, sister, daughter and wife as anything less than yourself.

That is why this particular punishment has turned into scandal... first of all... Women can not be punished in Public... it is not practice of Islam.... Man on the other hand are punished in Public, so others may not commit the same crime/sin again.
These so called implementors of Islam are not their to preach or implement Islam, they are their just to sell Islam in order to get in Power... nor their approach neither THEIR ISLAM has anything to do with Islam.. its just lust of Power..

4 witnesses are required to prove the sin of Adultery... and not rape....
It is like, you or me, accuse a couple for adultery then according to Quran I have to back it up with four credible witnesses, failing to do so, me or you shall be subject to punishment, for wrongfully accusing the couple.
On the other hand, Rape is considered Crime of first degree and punishment for this crime death... that it to show how severe this crime is considered in Islam..
Tell me is it human to rape somebody i.e., ruin her life, and then get out of jail after 7 years...

^ if it is proven that somebody committed rape, I'd vote for stronger punishment tahan 7 years. Make it more like 45 years with no parole (by which time that person should be out of such 'urges')
