I usually say either Allah hafiz or Khud hafiz, whatever comes out of my mouth first.
Although I can see how perhaps it is preferable to say Allah hafiz, I don't think that it is justifiable to say it is "wrong" to say Khuda or God or whatever.

Good thing you mentioned after two pages of argument over two words: "Allah Hafiz". :-)

Be happy with what you say , since we humans cannot judge . Let ALlah be the final judge. That should conclude the thread.

Note from Moderator:
Whats wrong with you today? First, you posted insults in another thread that were removed. Now you picked up a six-month old post to respond with insults. Control yourself, dude!
and nobody saw that insult by other poster for six months. Very fair and balanced :k:

yeah, this craze isnt very recent. it first started some 10-15 yrs ago when certain muslamans of the sub continent somehow came across the knowledge that the word "Khuda" was used for God by the ancient Persians who incidentally worshipped the fire too.

The reason was Islamic Revolution in Iran – started using my Wahabies 10-15 yrs before. My friend said if you want to identify a Wahabi ask him Khuda hafiz - if in reply he say you Allah Hafiz he is a Wahabi unkowningly. They also started using the word "Aap" instead of "Tum", "khtay hain" instead of "Khata hay" or "Farmatay hain" instead of "Farmata hay" for Allah. Then after Wahabies it was widely propagated by "Asrafies" in pakistan in "Tablighie" gatherings in white dresses; Zia style waistcoat with high shalwar.
