Personally I think, intruders give away their right once they break into my house …period! I will not wait and let them make a move first with my kids in the house. I’ll not only swing my bat, I’ll swing it hard so they can not get up again of the floor.

We all know about popular David Chen case. A store owner who made a citizen arrest was charged by police. Guy stole stuff from his store and came back for shoplifting after 1 hour of first trip. Chen, with the help of another worker, caught him, tied his hand and put him in the back of the VAN waiting for police. What did police do? charged him for confiscating the thief

The principle is to use proportional force.

Is it right to kill an unarmed man because he’s in your home? Is it right to assault a fleeing robber, who is no longer a threat to you?

It comes back to - what is the value of human life.
