I’ll search for cases and post the link but you are not allowed to use force unless you think your life in in danger. If guys are breaking in and running with hmm msay music system, you are not allowed to hit them.

DC6 isn’t wrong about the legal system making mistakes when they charge someone, but in principle, the law makes sense.

You can use force or deadly force to protect your own or someone else’s life, but not to protect property. If you look at it - it’s putting greater value on human life than property.
