i finally bought so chaud by mac its orangish red.. like velvety rich deep sunbursty red .. it makes me look WOW like ?WOWWWW
seriously ,, i liked the warm orangish tone better then the colder blueish undertone on my tan skin and yes it makes my eyes pop too ..

the russian red shade…im totally saving that for winters when my skin gets lighter…i think it will look a bit to garish in the summer when i get tanned.

hey everyone... nice conversation about red lipstick shades here :-) ... my wedding is in october and my lehnga is in red ( tomato Red) and sea green colour ( sea green is on the border) ... and i soooo gona wanna wear a red lipsticks as my family says red lipstick doesnt look good on me ( however i have fair complextion :-s) ... what other shade of lipstick can i wear with a red lehnga..... i was thinking of dark eyes ( no red in eyeshadow again) but with light lips??

You can do a really nice nude lip, with a reddish lipliner, but make sure that the lip liner is COMPLETELY blended in with the lipstick. you dont want to see red lipliner, and beige lipstick, looks really really really bad! the colours should bleed into each other perfectly. If you blend it in you will still have a nude lip, but the shape of your lips and the fact that you are wearing lipstick will show up nicely in pictures. Add a little bit of gloss, and it looks amazing with dramatic eyes!

DONTT just imagine that red will bad.. go to a mac or nars counter and let these girls try a few shades on u / bring some red shirt similar to ur shade .. i believe a dulhan should wear red lipstick.. dont do nude .. everyshade has a different look and 1 will look just perfect .. i m sure :)

^^ yeah there is definitely a red shade out there for everyone, especially if you are fair then it shouldnt be that difficult, i think red looks stunning if you are a bride, especially if you are wearing red, then its practically a sin not to ;)
go hit a few makeup counters and take your shirt or dupatta with you!

I've recently started wearing a red lipstick that i've had for a while but never worn and its really nice. I tone it down by applying it with my fingertips. Its too extreme if I use it directly. Its one of those that stay on for 10 hrs and u put gloss over the top. I'ts really nice.

ive always worn red lipstick..for as long as i can remember...its the perfect way to get a polished look!!
