IF you are a brother who is doing the same thing with someone else sister, walk away!! If not, talk to her, perhaps give her the boys are after one thing speech. If caught second time, she probably won’t (girls are supersneaky) then simply tell the mother and let her deal with it. Never raise a hand on a girl, no matter what!!!
i dont agree with that,if ur a bro doing the same thing to someone else’s sister you sit ur sis down anyways or inform your parents AND mend ur ways
there was a girl in my community, who was majorrrly spoiled cuz she was the youngest n had two brothers who would do anything for her n were much older so they were very protective with her also. apparently, her mom caught her talkin to some guy on the phone like late at night and the mom ended up tellin one brother. they sat her down n talked to her…annnd took away her phone. within a week, her boyfriend got her a new “secret” phone and her mom gave her back the original phone. so now this girl had two phones to use however she liked and she did again and got caught AGAIN this time by her older brother (30 at the time i think, girl was like 18) and he apparently got the dad involved, they sat her down n had a family meeting etc n apparently she cried her heart out cuz “she has no life”. finalllly when she got caught a third time, her mom took her to pakistan and got her nikahed to a nice daaktar who is also very good lookin. she still didn’t change…and from what i’ve heard though community gossip apparently still met up with her boyfriend a couple of times in between her nikah n rukhsati when her parents just thought she was over a friend’s house. btw, her husband came here after gettin his greencard and its been like 4 yrs since the marriage but hasn’t cleared a SINGLE usmle step cuz of some “paperwork” issue and she’s basically havin to work n support him. thats a huuge punishment to be stuck with someone who’s not even tryin to get use out of his degree. anyways, now she can’t really get a separation or divorce or anything cuz her reputation is already pretty bad in the community and she feels this obligation to save face for her parents after all she did to trouble them in her younger yrs
just an example of cases where physical abuse wasn’t used but the family definitely resorted to emotional and mental abuse. who knows what really happened to cause them to take such a huge step but it happens alot, unfortunately.

someone mentioned slapping…that is something that shouldnt happen at all…its unacceptable and totally wrong to slap someone today you slap ur sis tomorrow ur gonna slap ur wife and kids and maybe ur mom too …so no no no never ever physical abuse or even long term emotional abuse…emotional kaalamail is fine though
