The power omelette

How do you like yours?

Our favorites:

  • carmelized onions, mushrooms, jalepenos, pepperjack cheese stuffed omelettes.
  • left over grilled salmon stuffed, or julienned steak stuffed omelettes with a few additional seasonings.

Re: The power omelette

i neer liked omeleltte with chicken or fish, steak is good, but the first one there,, yeah that is the ticket..add some tomatos and cilantro, and thats my fave right there

Re: The power omelette

yeah, we do add tomatoes, I forgot to mention. Cilantro is sometimes, if available.

I’ve even done left over tandoori chicken :smack: great way of utillizing leftovers. Haha.

Re: The power omelette

I can never understand how people eat the egg and chicken together… it makes me all queasy :bummer:

I dont like eggs too much but do get the cravings once in a blue moon… in that case… jalapenos, green chillies sliced up, tomatoes, onions, cilantro…yummy!

Re: The power omelette

Riya, the chicken and egg combo is surely a strange one, yes. But I’m guilty of tormenting my family with it  all for a good cause :snooty:

Eggs are my favorite food. I loved them any way, boiled, fried, poached, scrambled, omelette, whatever…not much in salans though :bummer:

Re: The power omelette

I have a question for X2, Milly and all those from the UK land.

When I use to visit my family there, we ate this scrumptious breakfast that had something called potato scones (if I remember)... flat square patties made of patotaoes, very thin...went great with eggs and baked beans. Do you get them USA? Totally NOT hash brown, nothing close that.

Re: The power omelette

Re: The power omelette

tomatoes, onions, jalapenos, green chilies, green peppers- my perfect omelette.

we had this YUMMY omelette at ihop once, it was temporary thing on the menu called something like jalapenos and cheese omelette, aaah how i wish they would bring it back. it even had spinach in it i think.. best omelette i have ever eaten.

Re: The power omelette

i love boiled egg khagina..

We make our omelets with onions, cilantro, green chillies, tomatoes (yummy), and thinly sliced fried potatoes (another favorite ingredient).

And this may sound weird, but I like eating with a little mayo on the side.

One of these days, I wanna try eggs with hollandaise sauce. Never tasted it. Anyone try it ? If so, how is it?

X2 and Nikki..most of the things on that website are way too overpriced. For non frozen things, if you guys want anything let me know seriously…and I will send it!

Omelette- eggs, green peppers, red onions, jalapenos, tomatoes and green chillies. On a weekend, sometimes have it with baked beans too. On the side, not in the actual omelette

Re: The power omelette

omletes :yummy: i can have simple french omlette everyday wont get sick of it

but i make this omlette when i dont wanna make only one thing for breakfast

onions, diced cold meat, mushrooms, cheese, cilantro, bell peppers, spring onions(sumtimes), shredded potatoes(sumtimes when i dont wanna bother to make toast), carrots or any other veggie on hand with salt and black pepper & papprika(sumtimes) :yummy:

Thanks DDR. My younger bro is back in London so he sends or brings goodies. I actually have found British goods shops here in Chicago and honestly for many things, the shipping and all add up from London. I love lilt but it's useless posting it from there to here.

Re: The power omelette

yumm im hungry

Re: The power omelette

i hate omelette!!

And I will!

I was telling him about the scones just the other day and trying to explain what they taste like to him. So last night I told him you found these for me. He was :smacking: his head with like, first the Flake now this, what next! ha ha!

Re: The power omelette

Beef seems to go so much better with eggs than chicken I think...strange since eggs come from chicken lol but there you go....

has anyone tried adding beef sausage to omelettes??? YUM!!!! We get the frozen beef sausage links, fry them up and then slice them. Add them to the omelette mixture then fry the omelette in the sausage grease :) YUM
