The PIA Experience :-)

Re: The PIA Experience

No wonder they have reservation problems when they give away reserved seats because they like people’s dimples…

Charming indeed.

Re: The PIA Experience :-)

I was kidding ;) .

Re: The PIA Experience :-)

thankgod, cuz otherwise i would have seriously "investigated" to find out whether it was the same b**** who gave me real hard time just cuz i went to same highschool as her.

Re: The PIA Experience :-)

I've never had any problem traveling with PIA. My dad used to work for PIA and honestly we never had any complains. Even last year when i went to Pakistan, the service of PIA was pretty decent. As well as food n stuff. There was only one problem in there (which was not there in da new planes) dat was the bathroom. Pakistani Ppl jz dont know how to clean their SHIZ after gettin done using the bathroom. Aik to Itna Kha laitay hain.. or phir Gandagi Kartay hain.. Jahil Log... I think there is nothin wrong wid Service, rather it is time for some Pakistani ppl to have some discipline. Lets Make Dua For Them. May Allah Show Em the Right Path.

Re: The PIA Experience :-)

Thai is OK but not really good. Emirates is good. Best for me is Singapore Air.

Re: The PIA Experience :-)

Sorry!! Double post.

Re: The PIA Experience :-)

I recently used PIA's new ATRs from Lahore to Peshawar and service was pretty good.

Even coming in to Pakistan (with SA) was no hassle at the Lahore airport. Immigration was promptly done and the luggage was quick to come as well. No one bugged me at the Customs and only question they asked was, "son! Did you pack everything yourself?" which was strange as I was coming in...

I had good experience of flying on Karachi-Shannon-NY route outbound. Inbound was through Manchester though and a different story.

Re: The PIA Experience

My one and only experience in a PIA flight was about 11 yrs ago, i asked the stewardess for some water to take my medication, 5 mins passed and no sign of her, after a few more mins i got up myself and made my way to the middle section of the plane where all the refreshments were and i saw her chatting with her collegue.

She saw me and said ā€œhelp yourselfā€, when i asked her if she remembered that i asked her for a glass of water only 10 mins ago, she said she did but was busy and gave me a snide look, understandebly i have never stepped foot on a PIA plane since. :mad2:

Re: The PIA Experience

i hate flights wen it happend liket that…especially weight is the main problem…we always ring 2-3 nights before leaving to sonfirm the weight…thank god nothing bad happened with us yet…but usually PIA is a horrible flight…buche crying na dnobody doing anything about it…and they have oldest planes on board…last time all the flights were canclelled coz the planes were too old apart from ours…:smask:

Re: The PIA Experience :-)

Nah to PIA's credit they had improved a few years ago...but then just go off the ball!

The service isnt that bad...the planes need some elbow greese..but i wouldnt say it was crap...you get what you pay for...hey least the meals are mostly nice-ish!

Re: The PIA Experience :-)

oh come on PIA air hostess are good looking and service is nice
