mm nope dont c any :stuck_out_tongue: PIA does have pretty decent service, maybe the flight attendants aren’t models :rolleyes: but the service is pretty good.

:hehe: I have yet to see any PIA hostess giving such care to young children. In my experience they are more likely to shout “dafa hoja, aur chup kar ke sawn ja!”

^ For sure. I didn't have any complaints. I don't know why people expect to get a 5-star treatment when traveling.

Emirates is ok...nothing special bout it either!

All PIA need to do is update there planes....Get rid of the old horses called Air hostess! bring in some young blood!

PIA is considered a 3 star airline,
emirates and thai are both 4 star

Well so far I have only used PIA for domestic beating , for international emirates or Swiss . They can beat PIA on any given day .

But I was told that PIA still allows you to carry 40 Kg per seat , where the rest wont let you go more then 20 . Is that rite mates?

PIA is an average airline offering amazing products for Pakistanis (read:direct flights). But to say it's an average airline would be too much for a "Pakistani" to say. It's just not in their character to appreciate what they have. Instead, pakistanis love to bad mouth everything and anything Pakistani...everything that is... except themselves. PIA is PIA because Pakistanis will always be Pakistanis:

Pakistanis will act all proper in foreign airlines, but trash their own national airline. They'll be well mannered on Emirates, but loud and ungrateful on PIA. They'll control their children on BA, but let them run a circus on PIA. They'll flush their washroom mess on American, but let the toilets turn into gutters on PIA.

You econo-flyers should stop blaming the staff for being cold hearted. Dont expect them to fluff your pillows. They treat you the way you should be treated - like a Pakistani.

I've never faced bad service, the staff is always helpful and nice, maybe the service was slow a few times but thats hardly anything to complain about.. I'd rather go on PIA than have to endure a 8-10 hour stay at the airport while on another airline. Coming back from pak last week, i was sitting in the first row (econ plus) and the flight attendant asked me if i wud mind changing my seat for a little while b/c another passenger wanted to put her baby to sleep and was really nice/apologetic abt it so yeah there goes the rude air hostess thing...

I can understand criticism of the aircraft and technology they use, but to trash teh airline coz their flight attendants aren't good looking or young? Pathetic. If that's the only complaint ppl have abt PIA, then that really says more about the sad state of the passengers and they deserve the so-called crappy service.

i rarely travelled on PIA though but ma family did. well they didnt travel on eco class much either so yeah no hassling i heard of.

so far i find Cathy Pacific has the best service. :dhimpak:

Spot on hskhan, I totally agree.

I have no complaints with PIA internatinoal, and I have travelled with them enough times and will continue to do so. I have never had my luggage lost, nor anything stolen while using common precautions. No flight attendant has been rude or misbehaved. I don't know why people love to trash PIA flight attendants, and why do people expect to be treated like royalty? They serve you meals, drinks, and address common concerns, and thats all they are required. What else do you want them to do? Press your feet? Massage your back and baby you? It's rediculous.

I've also travelled twice on PIA domestic. They have excellent service.

I really love PIA services...The attendants are courteous, polite and attentive...They address your needs, they feed you extremely well and provide a choice of food from Asian to continental...

For those who think that PIA's service is below par, they should travel on gora airlines where they are handed a bag of peanuts and mistaken for refugees from Somalia...
