You’ll find better answers in poetry. Ending up with someone who reciprocates your feelings has always been rare and then there are tons of other issues to overcome. Media distorts our perception of reality.
In my social circles since school days, there were always these love-triangles or love-polygons spanning over years in which everyone was after somebody else and in the end no body ended up with anybody in the picture but with somebody new.
If you are a genuinely sensitive person, it’s almost impossible to find another genuinely sensitive person.

It really is if you follow it, if you let go of a few conditions then you have much better odds. I don’t have race, religion, caste, education, status as conditions for my kids, only love and sincerity and mutual respect.
