What is this nonsense with you people and "oh i heard memons are rich". Please tell me where is this money? I have no money.

I'm not marrying any cousins; we all decided we would be marrying out of the family for genetic reasons, and also to mix things up a bit.

It’s funny. I went to Karachi recently, and people no longer have these ethnicity hang ups over there - everyone is marrying everyone else, people don’t care i’m memon you’re punjabi, etc.

You like someone, you marry them, and love marriages are in full swing. Bunch of my cousins recently married, most of them married people they met at work or in school.

In fact, the fobs I meet here who are recently from Pakistan are way more open minded - no one says ANYTHING about age, etc. You’d think it’s cuz they all want a visa, but the few immigrants I’ve met dont even need me to sponsor them, they’re sponsorship from their jobs, and they dont care I work, they dont care about my age, and they WANT to sit down and have an actual conversation, unlike families who have been living here for 30 years or so where they just box you with stereotypes - acha we wont talk to her, she works too many hours, moving on. :chai:

Marriage is about compatibility and love between people, not someone you fit into your outlook calendar and someone you’ve boxed in as “most fertile” based on age.

What I was trying to say in very polite way that PCG would not appreciate a paan eating hubby during .. errm .. I mean you really dont want to taste someone elses kaththaa choona, no matter how much you love the person.,

I just dont think Pakistanis believe in love anymore. We just believe in $, and old stereotypes. I'm 29. I can have a baby just fine. Not sure why everyone freaks out about my age. There is a womb here, it works.
