(Note that all of the rest have played more than enough international cricket).

But thats not enough for the Chief selector Inzi cuz apparently “boyz played well” in Asia cup. So when today the list of 17 players for Australia tour is announced, Fawad Alam is no where to be found.

Wasn't Muhammad Irfan too old but still inducted to bowl until his injuries ruled him out?

As for domestic averages, haven't kamran and umar khatmal also performed well just to crash in overseas tours?

Perhaps, Pakistan needs scores of defeats for actual heads to roll but then Inzi bhai will always be a mullah bhai. I can't believe that I am related to him on my dad's side as a distant relative.

And now the young Hafeez is added to the squad! There is no shortage of excuses for Fawad. Too old, not experienced, too slow,etc. etc. only to be replaced by players who not only have inferior records but are also either older, inexperienced or even slower than Fawad. It can't just be the Karachi bias (even though that is a reality evidenced by the heartache a poster here have with Sarfaraz leading the side). How does one explain selection of Asad Shafiq? Maybe it is a little bit of everything and the fact that his father has a strong KCCA connection, so he actually has lobby politics working against him, like Shoaib Mohammad had faced in his time.

Humiliating record does not matter to you because all you need is keeranchi ka apna captain.

Sarfraz wasn’t captain in November 2015 so blame the captain at that time. I was wondering how Pakistan played so many matches in one year.

Despite scoring 168 on Test debut and having a First-Class average of 55.66, you were only given chance in 3 Tests for Pakistan.

Very disappointed in team selection by Inzamam. I remember he as captain had discarded Hafeez couple of time saying he is useless and can't learn.

Its a incompetent board overall. I was reading that when Harris Sohail injured his knees the team physio suggested him to call it a day and take retirement. Instead he went to UK and spend few months in rehab and then resumed Cricket. Only in Pakistan players are forced to take retirement so soon. Remember Abdul Razzaq.

lol, just because are not “pendu”, it doesn’t make you a civilized citizen. You can be bhatta khor despite living in one and the only city in Pakistan that is keeraanchi.
