and yes, Lahoris pronounce a few words “awkwardly”, but they are not into how much awkward karachiites are. See youtube, you will not find average Lahoris commenting on how karachiites pronounce things. But you can see a lot of racists from karachi trying to making fun of lahori accent, while they are actually making fun of themselves. Many of them are employing Sindhi accent trying to label it as Lahore accent lol. Mean, they dont even know how Lahoris speak but they have to vent their “frustration”.

BTW I do agree with ur comment about lahori ppl making fun of their own accent. Thats y they are called zinda dilan e lahore… Others dont have than much sense of humor …
Recently a sindhi comedian made some jokes about sindhis and had to face huge back lash… Urdu speaking in general dont make fun of their own.,… however this has started from umersharif’s time..
arent there many other players from other areas including punjab who didnt get place despite having “good numbers”?
