next aishwarya, what do you mean?
i personally don't find aishwarya to be all that. she's pretty yes but she comes across as very fake, her giggles at everything are highly irritating and she cannot act.

there are other actresses who are much more graceful and present themselves better than her. sushmita sen for one, she's stunning, well spoken and extremely graceful. katrina kaif is another one.

I dont understand all the hooplah about Asin!?!...to me she has a very ordinary face and mind you i think i am being nice when i say that. Maybe she is a good actress but for that we will have to wait n watch her movie.

just an oppinion .. no matter who it is .. be it aish ..or be it katrina .. or anyone else for that matter .. it doesnt really matter whos next and that .. every actress or actor is unique in their own way .. like ..Madhuri lets say .. she was unique in her own way .. aish in her own .. and suhmita etc in their own .. plus everyones a queen in their own eres.. last few years maybe was aish .. now it could be someone else .. and before was Madhuri ..etc ..

she can act well, but, she is no stunner, to be frank.

and if you mean who is the next Ash in terms of looks only, well, i think none!

Yeah, I hardly ever come here...just thought I'd read your last comment when I saw this title in the new posts.

She did come back in a movie last year, no? And I heard she looked great even after 2 kids.

Does anyone listen to movie soundtracks?

I don't think anyone/ any girl can be the next ashwariya rai..and its not because i think that ash rai is all that or so gorgeous, I find her very average looking and all the films she has done are also good themselves you can not say it was ashwariya rai who played her role so brilliantly that the movies became a hoo haa...but why i say that other girls can't be ashwariya rai is because they can't get the same movies ash was lucky enough to get. I find the girl in Ghagni very much powdered/ filled in foundation its like i just feel that her face has so much powder on it along with other makeup obviously, she doesn't look natural at all from the face lets see how she acts; but the way Deepika is in all sorts of films i say she can take Ashwariyas position since even she is a ok actor but hyped like ashwariya rai.

^I agree. I think with the exception of very few movies, all of aishwarya's movie have flopped if you look her career graph. If it wasn't for two movies becoming popular (HDDCS, Taal), she would have continued to be how she was before. Even after that, she starred in nothing that was to boast of except Devdas a few years later and between that and Dhoom 2, again her body of work was quite pathetic.
She is hyped up because of her international exposure and looks because if you look at what she has done in bollywood itself, there's nothing to really wah wah about except a couple of movies here and there. And let's not forget that all those movies starred major stars like Salman, Shahrukh, Anil Kapoor, Hrithik.. so it's not like she was the sole reason for the movies' success.

i think her colored eyes have given her most of the hype

as for asin..i hear shes getting really good movies now and that after ghajini she will be seen with salman khan, akshay, hrithik..but those are just rumors. I also hear that she has started to throw tantrums on the shoots because the bollywood exposure is gassing her head up a bit too much. she doesnt seem all that from the promos ive seen.

next aishwarya rai? in my opinion no one can take her place....n here i am talking about the looks..maine use zaida haseen ladki nahi dekhi and no one can be soooo beautiful like aish...she has a unique face ...(eventhough we have some look-alike of hers...but even then she stands out)...she is soooo pretty...even in her first film (tamil film iruvaar)....she luked sooooooo pretty speacially those two songs hello mr and Vennilae.....(none of the other actresses looked dat good in their first films but aish was and is totally breathtaking).....i love her personality too...love wacthing her interviews n googling her pics..i never get tired of looking at the same picture/video of hers...its one of my biggest dream to meet her..and if i get a chance by god than i would loooove to reborn as aish..hmmm as an actress i find her ok...she has done some great performances in films like raincoat, provoked n choker bali followed by taal, hddc n devdas (she was heaven in that) (i heard iruvaar was a very good film too...not seen it yet)...sometimes her acting is not upto the mark but i still ,love watching her movies coz i watch them not coz of her acting but coz to see how more pretty she can look...i just love aishwarya..she is number 1.....

I didnt read the whole thing but i'd just say that...there are much much much prettier girls out there than Ashwariya rai...My friend is actually Ashwaria Rai look alike except she hasnt been through all the surgeries Ash must have gone through. her eye lift and lip are the famous ones god know how many more thing she has gotten done to herself, because if you look at her miss world clips she looks like a little sanwali chimpanzee with colored eyes. And her first film was with bobby deol named aur pyar hogaya she looks kind of sneha ullal and okish...i find her expressionless she just speaks the ratta hua dialogs and the one eyebrow lift expression..rain coat to had the same she only gained weight..nothing else. But if you like her its your opinion i didnt say all this to reconsider..or anything.
