Price tag… a measely $1,299 for the base model and $1,799 for top-of-the-line. With a flat screen, thats not expensive at all. And its everything ready.

and btw pristine, msn messenger, microsoft word, internet explorer, outlook express(counting some of the most used software) ARE available for Mac. There isn't much variety, but yeh Mac has enough software to cover all your needs.

i would LOVE a G4 .. BUT i am saying that IF i had iMacV2 in my possession, i would have NOT done USUAL stuff on it .. G4 is capable of WHAT kind of work, TRUST ME ..
Mac has almost every software available what you can think of. There are certain high end multi media softwares such as ‘Maya’ and ‘Soft Demage’ which work best only on Mac. Yes you can’t get Final Cut Pro on PC, only on Mac, the software which mixes sounds, videos and anykind of special effects one can think of. CIA is one of the biggest users of Final Cut Pro
New OS X is a Unix based system, and comes installed with Apache server and PHP. Yes and what would Mac be without Apple softwares such Itunes, IDVD, IPhoto, and IMovies, which makes it a true digital hub for all sorts of videos, digital photography, and burning DVDs by only ‘drag and drop’ method.
It’s a great machine. You can run your XP on it by adding Virtual PC in between, although it’s not much fun once you have tried OS X. It leaves PCs in dust.
HOOooo YES! .. NOW we in buzzinezz abdullah .. apple had to pay a LOT to get license to modify unix kernel that was put into macos.. but sigh .. worth it man .. WORTH it!..
Confused yaraa, there were bugs when OS X was first revealed more than a year ago. Now the latest version is OX.1.1, with bugs mostly removed, it's a safe bet to buy any Mac. Yeah..we wouldn't be able to run Apache and other Unix based applications without Darwin, the new kernal.. so definitely, It's totally worth it man..
