The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

:)

That was exactly my point. This NO NO thingy will be moderated well when we've unbiased whistle blowers. Right now its not the case.

Regarding politicians, yes direct namecalling or cursing etc shouldnt be used but let the poster judge himself. However, they still have a right to oppose or condemn any politician with a better selection of words but since they are the heroes of others, it is taken as offense. What I mean is that everyone of us has to check ourselves and on the same note, we dont have to be super sensitive even if someone whom we like is trashed.

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

Disagree. It is mostly moderators who are being personally targeted and they have been patient with that. Posters can always report personal attacks. Please remember that moderators are working voluntarily (at least that's what I heard last).

Agreed. Self censor should be used unless someone goes way too overboard.

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

Name calling only allowed to PTI workers and moderators don't believe me , ask devilish angel, he can educate us on this

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

From here on out please report any name-calling. And this goes to all members. There will be limited tolerance for name-calling of any type whether against other members or political figures. Fair criticism on policies is acceptable, but any derogatory name-calling that degrades the discussion will become review-worthy by team members. If a team member is indulging in it, then please do not hestitate to report that as well. Fairness is key in trying to create an environment that is conducive to a productive discussion, and we will do our best to ensure that.

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

I am she not he :)

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

By calling ‘he’ when you are ‘she’ … that comes to worse kind of name calling (sonchayn gender he badal diya). Please notify ‘Teggy’ and I am sure he would give warning to ‘Hanibal’ and would delete his post.:halo:

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

I'm surprised that people think you're a he! You always post loads of pictures of bridal dresses and outfits in the wedding section. What guy would do that? Lol. :D

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

OK Miss ... sorry. May apnay Alfaaz wapis layta hoon.

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

If you feel that you are being attacked/insulted and the post has been missed, please report it and action will be taken. This holds good for the members of all political parties, we as Mods might have soft corner for some political party but this board is for every one across the board and we want to keep this board as neutral as possible.

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

if this what you have said can be implemented, i am sure the forum would become a decent place to share ideas.. because right now, one either have to hate or love a particular party/personality and have to support or oppose it no matter what... aside all political differences, end of the day, it is same country, it is going to remain same Pakistanies and calling-names of others would get nothing but further hatred which would destroy us all eventually...

Thanks for you response and approach, really appreciate it.

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

Just to clarify, please let me know if the word “haram khor” is beyond tolerance limits :halo:

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

so, they can kill thousands of Pakistanis but Pakistanis cannot even call them names? Thora raham karain.

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

^^^ you should look at the interview and think …

Now accept that … we are talking about Pakistan, where … it is expected that a girl should not even call a person who raped her a rapist neither she is suppose to report or even mention the rape, else she can be booked for adultery.

So … follow the rule.

Here the rule in Pakistan, especially for those who unfortunately ever got into any sort of authority and thus became stiff necked, is that: A true Pakistani should live as an impotent scum of the earth … where he can be raped, his house can be ransacked by authority, his country can be looted and plundered, he could not get any work done without paying bribe (his MNA can even say that taking bribe and doing haram-khori is his right), his account can get frozen and he can lose all what he saved, his university degree can be declared useless as CM can make it equal to fake degree (saying degree is degree), his daughters can be group raped in public, his wife can be undressed naked and made to march on road by local MNA (who by the way would be local wadera/Zamindar too), his womenfolks can get buried alive (just because local MNA thinks that is the custom Pakistanis should follow as MNA likes it), his bakery employee could get beaten up just because lady likes it, he could get killed by politicians or police (on their whim and will), he could be put in prison and could be given chitrol big way just because his local MNA got upset with him, he … well … whatever happens he has no right to say what his tormentors are … as he is truly an unworthy scum of the earth … kammi … hari … mazdoor … and worth less than Sh*t of his political master’s dog… so?

So … one should accept what a Pakistani is suppose to do as Pakistanis should know their right and position as Pakistani … then keep quite, else a Pakistani could be put in prison and ‘Shareef’ police would give that Pakistani ‘chitrol’ if they call their Masters with names what their Masters deserve … but do not like to be called by that name.

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

if you are talking about TTP, then they are not in the list, it is just common sense...

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

I'm talking about political parties.

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

like? and please do not say "na-maloom afraad" or "you know it" :)

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

You know it.

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

LOL...

on the topic, still i won't call them names, because no matter what, ANP, PPP and MQM's objectives are not as of TTPs.. these parties have goons in them... and the leadership is turning blind eye to them and do cry when their "Assets" are targeted by their rivals or law enforcement agencies...

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

^ So, you won't allow anyone else to call them names either? The same people you allege have killed thousands of Pakistanis?

If you don't call them names, it is your decision and a good decision. But please do not enforce it on others. Let others expose themselves through the language they use.
