The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

who am i to hold anyones tongue!!! say whatever you want to say... and when did you found me enforcing on others... are you suggesting that i shouldn't put my views because you may not like them???

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

By suggesting that it should be an official policy at GS not to let people abuse or slander politicians (the people you claimed killed thousands of Pakistanis), you are trying to hold tongues of posters, a mentality also reflected on your signature. Amazing that you can call them murderers but not ganja or 10%??? Ironic that I am restraining myself to get personal with you on this thread :D

I am suggesting that you put your views all you want and let others do it too.

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

so you are saying i've no right to put any view??? right or wrong maybe another debate!!!

why i want ban on mubashir luqman, clearly he abuses others and spread hatred and disappointment in society... so he must be ban... Dr. Aamir Liaqat, he is another person who have done more damage then good.. so has Geo or Ary or Dunya or Express news channels..

they all should be banned because they are negative in their essence and are spreading nothing but negativity in society.. seldom i see any good news coming out them...

and this Aamir Liaqat guy, he have turned Iftar And Sehar program into nilaam ghers... which is against the spirit of Islam...

PS: look how calm things are when Geo News is off the air...

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

I suggest you use an english language dictionary when you re-read my posts.

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

So, basically you want to shut up all people you don't like or you have a difference of opinion with. Thanks for the clarification.

Don't they have a right to put any view??? right or wrong maybe another debate!!!

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

if you ask my personal opinion then yes... but problem is the people who don't agree with me have same view about me... so it is not practical

in order to live and let live, i have to control my urges... and because don't want to them to abuse me, i won't abuse them... it is simple rule.. call names all you want but that is what you are going to get in return.. and that would not solve anything at any level...

Now MQM, ANP, PPP are involved in killing, what should i do, kill them??? abuses in cyber world is equivalent to killing, that is my opinion you have right to differ..

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

^ Thank God you are not a moderator at GS. We would have had 90% of posters banned for life by now.

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

ahhahah, that is so true... :) more over, thank Allah, i am not in any govt position... otherwise media might have got silent by now, and all would be living in peace of mind... :)

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

^ musharif ki yaad aa gai :)

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

App ko musharif acha lagnay lagta :)

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

^ nhi, in his time ppl started hating army, ppl started beating faujis, he tried his best to defame army, thak god army regained its respect.

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

That is again propaganda full of lies that people started hating army.

Actually, what happened is that in 2007 army started operation against Taliban in Swat, and when that operation started, government issued circular that army should not wear uniform in public ... not because public started hating army but because of operation army personals became prone of Taliban target. This circular was valid while army was fighting Taliban in Swat and Taliban was hitting army (that is happening even today, rather more viciously). Nevertheless, circular was specific to Taliban hitting army personals, not Pakistani public.

But as you know that in Pakistan we have huge propaganda machine that spread lies, and is run by politicians, especially PMLN, who hate army because when army comes army limits their corruption. With media in their control, these politicians started propaganda that people started hating army, as if whole of Pakistan is Taliban and army started operation in whole of Pakistan against every Pakistan.

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

^ in my neighbor a major was dragged out of his car and beaten by ppl just because he was an army officier and I am talking about fauji cantt area. NUST changed their uniform earlier their MC and PC used to wear army uniform and only NC and FC used to wear white uniform and after this incident all started wearing white uniform

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

^^^ I am surprised what you are saying ... but if that is true than your area must be full of Kharnees and pro-Taliban sympathizers.

Anyhow, if I manage to find (as I read the whole document years ago and again few months ago) the circular of 2007 by government and army when operation in Swat against Taliban started, I would show you about army not wearing uniform in public as army was aware of possibility that such operation would cause backlash from Kharjees and misguided Pro-Taliban Pakistanis.

Note: Taliban in Swat was TTP (or Punjabi Taliban) and they consists of Jihadis that Pakistan army trained to fight in Kashmir, but in 2004 Pakistan decided to stop using such non-state elements in Kashmir as due to them Kashmiries were getting killed in big numbers and were also getting alienated from Pakistan. So, when sponsorship and support of these Jihadis stopped they turned them selves against Pakistan and Pakistani army ... and when Pakistan started operation in Swat, army was expecting backlash from them ... that did come

Actually, backlash started from 2004, when these elements attacked Musharraf and later then PM (Shaukat Aziz) was also attacked ... plus, there were many attacks on army and government interest all over Pakistan.

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

Maybe we some kind or rehab corner in this forum as punishment for crossing boundaries and ultimately teaching some manners. For example, whoever calls Nawas Sharif a wanton ganja or a ugly midget gets to spend time in the rehab thread where he will study ancient literature and classical love poetry for two weeks. And that’s not it, I nominate Sacheydino as a full time in charge and administrator of that rehab thread. :hypo:

Re: The Name-Calling, Slandering, and our sense of Morality

It was bad time for army those days, i have many cousin in Army, they were advised to not to wear uniform in civil areas..
