The Muslim Empire Revival

Does an everyday Muslim have the ability to distinguish between the two or is that the reason scholars have such an expanded role in Islam as compared to other religions?
[/QUOTE]

If an "everyday" Muslim cares about the religion and spends time and effort to find out then he can figure out the difference otherwise will only have to depend upon "everyday" mullahs which is the case today.

^ Semi, please find out from a recently delivered fatwa whether checking oil is haraam or not. Or for that matter wearing lipstick, eating passion fruit or riding in cars with boys.

These thing are already sorted out, only if you care and learn.

Changez yaar, If god gave a rat's ass about the lipstick you wear or the food you eat or the bonds you purchased then he is mot living up to expectations. He needs to concentrate on spreading the love and making things rather than the minutia of human existence. There are pigs and goats and monkeys that need his attention as well.

God doesn't really give a rat's ass bout the lipstick. But the way it is used in society is taken into account by scholars. He does care about what you eat. He does not want you to eat sh!t even if you really love it, because He is more loving/caring than your mom, He knows that its not good for you. He wants you to be "clean", not "dirty" just like you were spanked in childhood for spilling soda/tea on your clothes. But unfortunately God does not spank anyone in this world for you to learn it the hard way.

What is this preoccupation with sh!t? A pig is no more unhealthy to eat because of its habits than is a cow or sheep. Some of these same people complain about dogs and cats because of their necessity to move food through their digestive system. This is especially perplexing because a lot of this same culture emerged from a society that uses their bare hand to clean themselves.
