The most useless piece of equipment in my house is the microvawe egg boiler (!)
i took it out of the box to store it, and lost the instructions, it has never been used, so i tuck in away where hubby won't see. ( he goes mad at me buying items that will not be used)
the most useful appliance in our house? the electric kettle. no matter how many guests i have, i just boil the water in it and pop in a tea bag. it sure beats making chai the old fashioned way in karachis steaming summers. and in the dead of winter, when we wake up for fajr and to get hot water from the geyser means u empty out ur pipelines with a couple of buckets of cold water before hot water arrives, i use it to heat up water for my wuzu.
my hubby loves to point out how much bijli i am wasting but i just show him how much water i am saving :) dont know which one of the 2 is more enviornmentally friendly.
the most useless appliance...hmmm...thank God i gave away the deep frier as agift without even using it. got it as a wedding gift, but didnt see the point of deep frying stuff so just gave it away!!!
i think the least used appliance in our house has to be .....the TREADMILL!!! which i will use from today InshaAllah
Deep fryer - used it once, such a pain in the butt that never used it again.
I am so used to boiling my rice the normal way over the stove that I have never used a rice cooker
Crock pot/slow cooker - my husband will never drink so much soup LOL
Most used - toaster, blender, the Bella chopping thing - makes amazing smoothies :)
and I use my coffee grinder to make zeera and dhaniya powder or when I need to make powder for fish seasoning. So that little 20-30 dollar thing comes in quite handy :D
Dishwasher like others who have 2 family homes is not used much. I would have to wait 2 days to load it!!
