When we had our kitchen done last Summer, we got a built in dishwasher, and we still have not used it. Not even to test it out:vivo:

Haha same thing with my parents. My mother was sooo adamant on getting a dishwasher, but now never uses it. It could have been extra cabinet space!!! My kitchen came with a dishwasher and I have yet to use it also!

As much as it sound healthy, effort and time required to clean it afterwards are just too much!

plus those food choppers marketed every hour on Shoppers TV. That was first and last item I bought from shop-at-home TV. What a waste of money and I still hear the echo (YOU WASTED MONEY ON THIS...) from my wife from time to time ..basically every-time she comes across the stored & grounded chopper :)

It it has no use in our home we do not buy it.
Anything or everything we have in our kitchen has a use for it and it is used frequently.

Like spoons , plates , knives , rolling pin , cutting board, wok , cooking pots , mugs , jugs etc , etc.

I think the most ueseless thing for me is the sandwich maker that I got from target.

Also, while I love my food processor I wish I had gotten a much bigger one. I definitely underestimated how much I"d be using mine.

So far, i've bought only the cheapest brand of appliances (gota love Target....$7 toaster zindabad) cz at least thi way i know if I will use it alot, I can alwyas get a better one later.

tortilla maker...

We use our tortilla maker to make puris too. It save us the effort of rolling out/bailing part of the work - then you just deep fry it. My mum uses it when she has to make 90-100 puris. That once a year it comes out of the box becomes worthwhile.

it has to be the kitchen aid factory.. cost a kidney and an eye.. but we havent used it cept a few times

it was bulky and hard to move and just a pain in the ass attatchments... we started to pull out the peeler, or can opener or knead dough with hand ... all things the machines could do..but it just took too long putting it all together so it never got used.. now its collecting dust in a box somewhere.

it was bulky and hard to move and just a pain in the ass attatchments... we started to pull out the peeler, or can opener or knead dough with hand ... all things the machines could do..but it just took too long putting it all together so it never got used.. now its collecting dust in a box somewhere.

The most uselss… our coffee maker … lying in a box somewhere, never used.

That reminds me of this funny thing my brother-in-law did… he goes and buys a coffee maker and put milk in it to make tea and then goes this thing is useless, it got burnt when I put milk inside it.

I use our dishwasher A LOT, no dirty dishes in my sink since they go in the dishwasher immediately then I run it overnight. I cannot survive without it.

it sucks thats why we dont use it.. its only good if u have to knead a large quantity of atta.. like for 10 ppl. we used to do 3 cups and it just never mixed right

u want a really good food factory that does it all.. moulinex makes amazing ones, as to kenmore..i have both and my atta making needs are taken care of!

This is one of the most used things in our kitchen My dad just chucks everything in carrots, apples, beetroot. oranges lime etc etc and it tastes so yummy and then he usually gives me a shout to come and do the washing

My aunt had her kitchen done last year and she hasn’t ever used the dishwasher she thinks it will cost more to run, with the water and electricity bill. so instead they use it to store all the kids food like crisps biscuits etc. I went to their house a few weeks ago and my cousin asked if I wanted some crisp so she goes to open the dishwasher and I was like “oh u got a dishwasher I never knew tht” she opens it and its full of all this food hahaha it was hilarious. I thought she was the only person who did tht

i think the most useless appliance would have to be the ‘slap chop’. it does like nothing. doesn’t even chop onions properly! got it as a gift, otherwise i would have been pissed at spending $$ to purchase it

Kettle- my sister loves the shape and presence of a classic kettle at home, so she bought this super expensive one for my parent's wedding anniversary. It's made of silver and very pretty looking, however.. Bad news- no one in our house likes to go through the effort of making chai the conventional way unless guests are over. Usually its chai from microwave or more commonly, coffee or hot chocolate.

I have never seen the dishwasher used for other purposes though, it sounds so funny. We have two of them- just because Ammi didn't like the one that came with the house so she made abbu install a new one!

I wish I had a dishwasher. We used it a lot at my parents' house. I just don't have one in my own apartment. Sucks!

I don't have anything that I don't use. From coffee grinder to hand blender, I use it all. The only thing I don't use is the Juicer that was gifted. I had to put it away only because I had no space to put that otherwise I would've used that too.

I personally am in luv with the dishwasher. My mom has to run the dishwasher 3-4 times a DAY … big family = loads of dishes. As she says “I would dead without it”. lol (bless her and her english!). So I have grown up appreciating this appliance and have been lucky enough to always live in an apartment that comes with one! I hope I never have to live without it!!!

Probably the most useless appliance for me is my toaster. I like my bread soft so the only time that puppy gets used is when I have guest over and I remember to take it out.
