What was the most shocking thing you witnessed in your life?

i was 9 went on a family vacation to pakistan..mom and dad took us to the store and asked us which chicken we liked, my sister and i chose a chicken next thing we know bechari ko halal kar diya. This was our first time witnessing something like that, so still sticking to me.

**when i see people go to the cemetery back home and engage in talks and laughs and crack jokes only a short distance away from the grave where the dead body is waiting to be lowered in the grave...

*qabristan is a place to remember your own death...it's an *'IBRAT GAAH'***...
how can one engage in such behaviour in the face of death...that's pretty shocking!!!*

There is this lady in our extended family whom we all knew was not really a very wise or kind lady but she would always talk and meet you like as if she’s the sweetest and the kindest being on the earth. However one day when i saw her true colors with my own eyes and listened to her talk her real self out, i was beyond shocked. It’s like you have known all along that this person is not a good one but you can’t even imagine how pathetic some people can get :eek:. It was really shocking! :nook:

A motorbike accident in Pakistan... I must have been 8 or 9... the dude didn't slow down on a speed breaker, lost control and hit the ground... he seemed to be okay but the lady sitting behind him was drenched in blood and either unconcscious or dead. :(

Witnessed a stabbing incident right outside my house last year. The scumbags had beaten my neighbour up before stabbing him and his skull was fractured.

The aftermath of the earthquakes in Muzaffarabad was pretty shocking to watch.

Can't remember anything else right now..

Shock #2.

I witnessed a classmate having an affair with a married men :eek:. It was just too much for me to digest because i thought it only happened in movies or with people atleast i wouldn’t be knowing in any proximity at all :(. And the details were a killer barf.

when a women with aprrox 3 year old kid came up to me n said "Where wr u hiding, finally i got you, samii", me k to saans or dharkan dono band ho gayee thi ek min k liye .. :(

later i found out that she is my childhood classmate..... :D
