We always park in Shaheen’s parking, go inside and buy kulfi (since they have a “customer parking only” rule) and then run and order our gyro from the cart before the uncle ji protecting the parking yells at us :hehe:

:hehe: …and I knew you’d be the first to flip ..only cuz you’ve reacted this way to the same confession I made a year or two ago, lol. Doubt you’d be the last. I just prefer pastas with a tomato-based sauce. Not a fan of fettuccine alfredo either.

Ohhhhhhh I like the halal guys. I really do. The one on Jackson Hts.. Sammy’s is pretty good too … but my favorite gyro still is 53rd and 6th. I don’t think there is anything I dislike too much. Maybe sushi or something.. I like everything desi.

Mushrooms are weird. It’s the thought that I’m eating a fungus that has a rubbery texture that turns me off. M
Shrimps are gross. It’s like I’m eating a crunchy insect.

I agree. Even McDonald’s coffee is much better than Tim Horton.

And no one can beat Starbucks pike place brand amongst all the commonly available coffees out there.

It pains me to say this but the paella I had in Barcelona wasn’t all that good…I’ve had much better at Spanish restaurants in the US :vivo:

I like Halal Guys :bummer:

And I’m sorry, but the frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity is the most overhyped/overrated thing I’ve had in NYC. :naraz:

I love, love shrimp and any fish, though I don’t really like scallops

Paya or any organ meats. People drool over it. Most halal carts around NYC and the 5 boroughs are pretty and very cheap. Most include a huge sandwich or platter and a drink for under 5 bucks. I wonder how they can offer so much food for that price. most restaurant food is very average. Most places don’t know how to make biryani, Chinese or chicken makkani. Honestly the best food I’ve had is at people’s houses when they cooked.
