can you tell me mia in va, if a coworker asks you if you could pick up lunch for him on your way, would you feel offended and make allegations about him trying to save gas? or would it be a normal expression of kinship among mature human beings that work in close proximity day in day out?

I know this was directed to MIA. Ok so a co-worker asks you to pick up food... after insulting you, kicking you, and yelling at you.... ok, than he asks the rest of the team what they want, now you are getting food for 20 people, from about 5-6 different places? Your ok with that? Is that something you do on a daily basis? If so u don't know how much I look up to you.
Big and lunch are two different words. I don't expect your kind to be grammatically inclined. I know you must be really busy getting food for others to correct your errors.
Ummmm… if he does idiotic things to irritate me and makes fun of me while I’m not on extra-friendly terms with him, then yes, I would get annoyed… and I would probably need to vent, as I’m not the confrontational type I would probably go to my boss or HR.
There’s this guy in my office who really annoys me with his twisted sense of humor, he’s really mean with his comments… but I just brush them off, since I don’t directly work with him. I can imagine what work would be like if he sat behind me and made snide remarks all day long shudders … and if that guys asks me to bring lunch for him, yep I would probably be all like WTH… get your lunch yourself. Please don’t judge DB, you don’t know how long this guy’s been annoying her.

funny how you had no issues with the insulting, kicking or yelling. just with the food pickup. i would think being kicked would have been a big deal. but apparently its the saving gas which gets to you.

Buddy... I mentioned the kicking in my first post, I mentioned the fact that he yells if I tell him politely that I will not be able to do something for him. That is actually one of the first things I mentioned. Like I said picking up food for your co-workers is really minimizing your ability to read. It's sad that you have to give up this much.
