ya, they spent 1.5 million! It does seem like a waste to me too.. But it definitely was breathtaking!
I guess if you have the money, its your choice to do what you want. To each their own ::shrug::

Wow! The mehndi alone was bigger and more extravagant than any normal wedding, lol!

they might have spent alot but i've seen much nicer dressed brides, who didnt spend much!!

Not to toot my own horn but lavish and extravagant? My own 
yeah I thought I would like a lavish and dream like wedding but even then someone won’t be happy. a simple one with your family and friends is often the best and more fun… $1.5 million on a wedding? :aq: idk… great… May Allah bless them, as long they don’ t seem pompous about it to others later… 
as for me…as long as I get the chance to have my nani put mehndi on me, my parents & siblings there with me during my rukshti… and something to wear that I feel pretty in… I’ll be content. Of course to have my groom say qabool..that would be great too. But all the little things…deco, flowers, etc..yeah its important…but then its all for show really.

at sabrina and danishs wedding anil kapoor was staying at the hotel that their mehndi was at. they had 2 mehndis, one from the guys side and one from the girls. he was at the bel air hotel so alot of guests saw him! lol
but theyre wedding was insane. the price was just crazy. and they just had their first child. a baby girl ma!
they handed out the biggest invites for the babies aqiqa! they were realllllllly big silver vase types of things. i wish i had pics. but they use money likes its toilet paper.

actually just came from covering my most lavish wedding tonight…had a troupe come in from out of town…
