i think it is part of ur syllabus perhaps or stories from some biased hindu historian.

Aurangzeb Alamgir was the only practicing and allah fearing mughal ruler. thats why most of die hard hindus hate him. he was very hard working, just and pios person. he earned living by writing quran e pak by his own hand. and ur allegation of murdering innocents hindus is baseless. but if u kill the enemy in the war thats another thing

after all he was the greatest of all the muslim rulers ever ruled over Indian Subcontinent.

definitely u wud like Akbar coz who was not practicng muslim he had nothing to with islam. beside he tried to created his own “Deen Elahi”.

Aurengzeb’s unprovoked war against the Muslim states of Golconda and Bijapur puts lie to his claims of piety.

In fact when his chief qazi issued a ruling that Shias are Muslims and therefore jihad could not be waged against Golconda and Bijapur (being Shia-ruled), Aurangzeb fired the Qazi and replaced him with a more pliant one who was willing to rule that Jihad should be waged against Shias, in order to justify his invasion.
