Re: The "Mahdern" Pakistani Woman
She lives in a pind but speaks English with a British+American+Canadian+Swedish accent, and has trouble with urdu.
She was born in jeans designed by Baby Phat.
She doesn't know or care to know who the founding fathers of Pakistan were.
She needs a maid for pretty much all personal tasks.
More later.
I like this description......I'm just going to change one line slightly:
She knows who the founding fathers of Pakistan were but won't admit it. ("ratta" tau lagaya tha na)

-pretty
-pretentious
-extremely brand conscious
-educated (mostly) but wasting it
-drama queen (mostly these days young women are against joint family system. i find it a bit surprising)
Re: The "Mahdern" Pakistani Woman
Gets her inspiration from Cosmo rather than Urdu digest? I dunno.

Re: The “Mahdern” Pakistani Woman
in a constant struggle to show themselves off as liberal and independent
on the other hand, too much negativity in this thread. not ALL pakistani women are designer lawn and pasted labels individuals. Some are generally hardworking and well educated
pretty definitely and oh I think pakistani women have a great fashion sense (not biased here) obviously because all the latest trends and clothes are easily accessible to them
My observation is totally based on the celeb pic thread.
Re: The "Mahdern" Pakistani Woman
When they move abroad they suddenly become smart than they were before..............:D
Re: The "Mahdern" Pakistani Woman
No problem I see how my comment may have been taken that way. From my understanding of it, they operate on the "ratta" system (I hope that's the right word)..they only study and memorize but don't put it to practical use.
That's the word.

Wow, I'm surprised at all the negative comments, especially from women. I guess no one here considers themselves modern.

Re: The “Mahdern” Pakistani Woman
in another thread did you not just disqualify yourself from being an ABCD?
boy…you ARE confused huh?
Re: The “Mahdern” Pakistani Woman
Maybe…kinda…sorta
In my views, I most certainly am not an ABCD..however, I fear that the fact that was born with a blue passport will forever brand me with that dreaded moniker :sid:
