From what little dramas I’ve seen, most of the stuff is implied. And because it’s implied in such a subtle way to me, most of the references fly over my head. But if I am to discuss that with someone else they seem to get it all, and even then some. =/

There is an improvement on this front as well. They have shown a wife asking her husband ‘Are you a gay?’ some 6-7 years back. A year back, they have shown explicit (blurred) scene of gay relationship in prime time (8 pm family drama) without any PG signs.
