The Lost war of Cultural and Social Values

Re: The Lost war of Cultural and Social Values

This brings me back to my first post in this thread. What is worn at these events are to sell the actors/actresses. They know, and the people watching these events know that this is not what is the norm, and this is what is worn only at these events, and they are wearing these clothes to bring attention to themselves, as well as the designers who designed these clothes. For the artists it’s a way to express their “individuality”. For the designers it’s an opportunity to show how versatile they are, and that they can design and produce whatever they set their minds to.

This might be a side, but I am happy that some of the clothes worn are at least produced and designed by Pakistani designers, and not something designed by a Western designer, just so they can show off how much money they have. At least they’re showing some Pakistani pride, however warped that expression of pride may be. For examplethis dress here is designed by Elan, vs another person wearing something from Zara or H&M
