Come on man, say what you want but "The Economist" is the FORERUNNER of 'GOOD' journalism out there.

The real question is Whether the first article he posted " The lion Unleashed" is really from The Economist or not.
The article is nonetheless biased. Read the following excerpts from "The lion Unleashed" and tell me what would you call it?
"With a roar of sports utility vehicles, Mr Sharif, the “lion of Punjab”, then swept forth to lead a protest march to Islamabad."
"Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) party predicted that Shahbaz Sharif would be reinstated in Punjab within a week—and Mr Sharif would be Pakistan’s prime minister within a year."

Yes it is, I hope you know how to click on links.
As for the rest of your post, yes, for MQM/Musharraf/Zardari admirers, the article may seem biased. Also, theres nothing superficial about the stuff you quoted, especially the prediction his party made about him getting the CJ back in a week, even I read that in news articles.
I dont know what you call it, I call it yellow journalism, that too by an 'anonymous writer'. The anonymity of the writer speaks volume about the credibility of the article.
That aside, you as a moderator have to be unbiased in your approach as well. The biasism can hinder your moderating tasks. :)
Re: The Lion unleashed
Clutching on straws now that you made an absurd remark about the Economist engaging in yellow journalism? Nothing was moderated in this thread, so stop whining.
I am sure if the economist wrote a praiseworthy article on altaf/mush/zardari, which they never will, you will be the first to subscribe to it.
And not that I expect someone like you to know, but you wont find the names of the authors in articles that the economist puts up. ![]()
Whatever keeps you happy :)
Optimism is a healthy trait. Keep it up

So turns out this article is no different from any other article on the economist? ![]()
Read post # 26 again :)
I have got to go .. Wa Salam
hahaha! you didnt need to tell me you were running away, but still I’ll be waiting to hear more about how this article is not from the economist, or is written by some anonymous author, or magically appeared in their website somehow ![]()
Re: The Lion unleashed
This Lion is nothing more than a toothless animal who hunts rabbits and claims they are Gazelle
Re: The Lion unleashed
Let's hope the lion makes a trip to Swat to restore confidence in the scared judges who cannot leave their houses due to taliban rule.

The confidence of people of karachi is fine. People of swat however are looking to sher-e-punjab for help, especially the judicial community as sher-e-punjab is hero of judiciary.

With that regards, the confidence of people in Swat is also just fine, which is apparent by the numbers that show up in those rallies. The Sher/Quid-e-Fisaad of London/Karachi should perhaps think of landing in Swat if you are so sure about Karachi
I am sure everyone there will love that creature.
