Yes, aren’t we all dying for tomorrow night? Let’s see a show of hands. The god of wrestling and entertainment combined, HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN, will grace us with his worthy of a presence, alongwith a footnote mention of his daughter Brooke, as these two will stand in a ring with a man who is dying to get his hands on…both!

The speculation at this point in time is for Orton and Hogan to be pitted against each other at Summerslam, alongwith the end (yes, you read that right, THE END) of a short-lived DX era. They will be demolished once and for all, as Shawn will undergo his knee surgery.

After Summerslam, expect to see Triple H vs. Randy Orton feud building to all new heights. Until then, I will start day-dreaming about tomorrow by going home tonight and blasting away my speakers with Hulk’s ‘Real American’ music.

The Hulkster returns. Before you switch on your television, take your vitamins and say your prayers, because guess what…BROTHER? You are going to be BOOM, BOOM…leg-dropped in the center of the stage. Lights, camera, action.

back in pakistan i used to watch Noora Kushti after Friday prayers on TV.

what was his name, Junkyard Dog, the kallu. he was undefeated and would beat his opponents in very short time every time.

The tickets of Summerslam have officially went on sale as of this morning (Saturday, July 15th) at all Ticketmaster locations and Box Office. You can purchase the PPV and watch the Hogan/Orton match which has been made official as of tonight on SNME, alongwith the rumored DX vs. McMahons.

Hogan Knows Best - I barely manage to sit myself together for one minute, let alone watch it for a straight hour. But yes, I have watched it on ocassions. I personally don’t see myself fit with the ideology that he has trapped his daughter into, but that’s just me. Do update me of the new security equipment Hogan has installed in Brooke’s car to track her down to the last corner of the earth, or perhaps a new video camera pinned on her forehead that has the ability to take random pictures of everyone in the street who crosses her path without her consent.

Since Summerslam is still some weeks away, nobody has won so far, but the good news is, Orton has challenged Hogan to a match which has been accepted to take place at that PPV.

Hogan and Brooke started the show but it was very distasteful. I was truly looking forward to some hardcore action (or at least a war of words) between the two involved but…the entire segment was just bizarre. On top of it, they showed Brooke’s music video, which is just a horrible, horrible piece. It was understood that the only reason Hogan family was brought back was to promote Brooke onto the main stage, but the script that was written for the promo was just awful. Only thing to look forward from now on is whether or not they try and capitalize on Orton’s RKO to Hogan on the top of his trunk.

But yes, a decent show overall. Fell much below from the expectations that they have always been known to hype for, but usually fail to deliver when the actual time comes.

I would say personal.

I used to love WWF and was mad about it but at present not as much as I used to.

My cousin has travelled to the UK for one of the big events and often stays in the same hotel as Vince Macman when they travel to the UK. He went to pick one of the wrestling commentators can't remember his name (flasses and wears hat and often is a fellow commentator of Jerry the King ) from Heathriw Airport and showed him around the West Midlands.

My youngest brother was a great wretsling fan and unfortunately he is no longer with us.

Good Ol' Jim Ross (JR) from Oklahoma - He is the play-by-play commentator alongside his other counter-part and the color commentator Jerry Lawler. :)

Great reading your post, especially your cousin story. I am sure you folks must have gone out to see several wrestling events in UK in the heyday when professional entertainment was at its peak - Austin, Rock, Jericho, Guerrero, Benoit, Mysterio, Triple H - every single one of them hitting their respective peaks in the late 90's, early 00's era.

May I ask, Rock_Express Bhai, as to the reason why have you lost interest? Was it the same old storylines rehashed every few months with a new flavor but with a more salty taste? Was it an indecenct and hypocritical act by Vince which was the main cause that left behind the legacy of a man who stood by us even when WCW offered him a contract of $9 million for three (3) years in the shape of Bret Hart, or is it something totally unrelated?

I don't really know why I lost interest - I suppose when I was younger one of my favourite pass times was Wrestling but as I grew older and other things in life became priority. Also, I felt that there were better wrestlers fro late 80's to late 90's and WWE know I feel is not as same as it used to be.

I do still watch the WWE but mainly the big events.

Apparently Jim Ross hates the King in real life - this is what Ross told my cousin. I will try to get some photos of him and may post them here on his meetings with WWE stars.

How much interest, you ask? Very hard to describe! I am more than willing to rip apart a $1000 note in a space of three seconds worth of watching Triple H in person pedigreeing a complete stranger on the side of the street. Even I would offer myself as a victim, if needed be. I do try my best to attend every one of the events that arrive in the local area, even if that means driving down to the neighboring county for hours worth of drive. Usually the habit has become to always come home without my voice-box for a week or so, but it feels very good from inside. The last two events I went to was this year, two weeks after Wrestlemania 22. Both the RAW brand and Smackdown brand. Yes. Things in life and their order of keeping priorities is quite important. :)

Would it be possible for you to gain more insight into the Ross/Lawler story you mentioned above? On what grounds have JR held a grudge against King?

Do you watch the four big events every year, or do you also watch a PPV here and there if there are big-name superstars included (such as Micheals/Hogan from last year's Summerslam)? What was the last event you watched, and your thoughts on the sky-rocketed PPV prices ($34.95 or ~19 British pounds).

Yes I will find out next time I meet him and ask him what he exactly said. I am not too sure when I will meet him next but if I find out I will let you know. In fact I may put you in touch with him directly as he has plenty of wrestling contacts and has a circle of friends who meet up and go around places watching events.

If I can get a copy of the major events then I do watch them but I don't bother paying for the PPV.

I really used to enjoy tag team actions - there were great teams i.e. Heart foundation with mouth of the south Jimmy Heart as their manager; Strike Force was one of my favourite teams; legion of doom, demolition, rockers, Russian Bosahawiks etc. There used to provide really good and exciting matches but nowdays there don't seem to be good tag teams around.

Hulk Hogan is an a hole. Always refusing angles where he doesnt go over!

I LOVED WWF (WWE as it is unfortunatley known now)
, and absolutely loved wrestlers who no longer participate like The Rock, Stone Cold, Mick Foley.

Dont think im a Mark either, cause i was well into the backstage scene aswell!

Absolutely, yes. Glad to have met another die-hard smark! I always say that professional wrestling fans who stick with the product since their childhood on a daily basis throughout are the best version of passionate fans found on this earth, period. The odd reality is, I see truth in this every single time. :)

Your post, as well as your comments on Hogan and the severe lack of quality nowadays is very much on the dot.
