Just saw it today, sneak preview show!! The movie is brilliant, with Tom Cruise leading from the front. The characters, soundtrack, action, everything about the movie was amazing. Cruise deserves an Oscar for this.

i think japanese culture is the most uninteresting in the world. apart from africa maybe.
how is tom cruise supposed to be a samurai? i dont know the plot, but wouldnt being a samurai require oriental features?

Exactly, your question will be answered when you watch it, hes not a samurai in the beginning, but then becomes one! You will see how!

This is not the first time hes been in one... Infact, the character he plays has been pretty similar to the ones hes played before...
Aha! I have been waiting for a decent movie like for a year now. After Finding Nemo and LOTR2 there wasn't a movie worth watching. I guess I could visit the theater once b4 "The return of the King" for this one.

December will be a Movie-Month. Upcoming movies are totally worth to watch. Samurai on 5th, Something's Gotta Give on 12th, Return of the King on 17th, and John Woo's Paycheck on the Christmas Day!

This is not the first serious role Tom Cruise has done... Infact, after seeing this movie, it didnt appear to me like it did when Jim Carry was playing a serious role, like he did in The Trueman show. Cruise played the character very naturally. This is probably to date his best performance.
Who is going to see it tomorrow? Ill prolly watch saturday or sunday.
