They are not in jail for bowling NO BALLS. They are in jail for taking money for it and ensuring winnings for the betting syndicates.

Yes, such actions do not ‘affect the outcome of the game’ but they do effect outcomes of a lot of bets made during this match around the world, consequently cheating thousands of people.

People should not be betting on sports. The fact that their actions hurt their country probably is more relevant than whether their actions hurt someone who bet on the game, IMO
