The Iraqi Boy.

The following link is a story (in Arabic) about an
Iraqi boy, age 15, who is a victim of cluster bombs.
He lost his right eye, right hand, and three fingers
from his left hand. Now, he can’t eat, drink, wash,
write, read or hold anything by himself.

He was transferred to Dubai, then to London for
treatment, and the UAE embassy paid (generously) for
all the costs of the operations aiming to transfer two
of his toes from his foot to his remaining hand.

One finger has been successfully transferred, but the
remaining one was planned to be done next year. All
was going fine, until the embassy of the UAE decided
to cut the funds and send him back to Iraq…

actually the gung ho american yankee willingly signed up for army to kill those damn rag heads...but this boy and all other countless innocent civillians got the destruction unwillingly..so we feel no sympathy for those soldiers what so ever....these deserve all they get and even more....

ouch. I'll have you know that most of the soldiers over there were against the war prior to its its beginning, and the majority of them dont even know why they're there.

Many of my guy friends are military boys. :)

What If this would have been your fathers or brothers picture.
will you just feel like saying opse side effects.

she considers herself american, so its ok for her to be balanced about a clear crime. i guess if she sees a murder she will show concern for the murderer being executed because she wants to be "balanced"...
cuz whats happening in iraq is murder by american blood thristy butchers and the victims are fighting back which is called terrorism by american.s

Yeah, and I bet you'll greet them with a warm smile if they come back and ignore what they've just done.

How any Muslims can be friends with people who have killed fellow Muslims is beyond me. And thats regardless of whether they were against the war in the first place.

Disgraceful.

If you had one ounce of sanity in ur brain you woudnt post this stupid remark about war being balanced and pain goes both ways. You friend soldiers dont have a right to step in a third world country and go on killing innocent people for their oil hungry president. I know young people in wisconsin who refused to do so and were detained or court martialed. At least its better than having the blood of innocent people on ur hands. People raise so much hue and cry here, over these soldiers killed by so called terroists and insurgents or whatever in iraq..ever thought bout the 100,000 iraqis who were butchered by your precision war tactics or countless people who were targeted in chechnya, vietnam, sudan, haiti and list goes on. I suggest when u celebrate the christmas with ur gora friends and drink and dance under the tree.do think about those people luyin in graves in iraq..especially the infants who were rotting in graves over there

Adios

correction: I never said War is balanced.

Ah the rich scent of debate. Shukar Allah that this scent is pervading these threads.

If you had one ounce of sanity in ur brain you woudnt post this stupid remark about war being balanced and pain goes both ways.

Like I said - I didn't say "war is balanced". As for pain going both ways - who are you to say that the pain a non-muslim feels is any less than that of a muslim. For if we are to go by the Quran here, the Quran says that any one life lost is like all of mankind dying. And that includes the lives of non-muslims. But in our "Islam Islam Islam - muslims ought to rule this world" style of thinking (the roots of Islamic fascism, as I like to interpret it), its so convenient to forget these kinds of verses in the Quran that are not specifically meant for any one historical incident, but are rather, universal, in their application...and instead this style of thinking leads us to home in on verses that were meant for particular situations in which early muslims were asked to defend themselves because they were undergoing a genocide.

You friend soldiers dont have a right to step in a third world country and go on killing innocent people for their oil hungry president.

You dont give these soldiers the credit for the fact that most of them feel the same way you do.

** I know young people in wisconsin who refused to do so and were detained or court martialed. At least its better than having the blood of innocent people on ur hands.**

Yes, I agree. However, mankind does not work in this utopian fashion of I-will-stand-up-for-what-I-believe-in. I realized long ago, that this kind of attitude usually applies only for characters like Aerin and Tor in the Hero and the Crown and other such children's fantasy novels.

** People raise so much hue and cry here, over these soldiers killed by so called terroists and insurgents or whatever in iraq..ever thought bout the 100,000 iraqis who were butchered by your precision war tactics or countless people who were targeted in chechnya, vietnam, sudan, haiti and list goes on.**

The funny thing is that this same critiicism is being raised by our very own Americans - nay, not the Muslim Americans only, but by non-muslim Americans as well. So stop generalizing.

** I suggest when u celebrate the christmas with ur gora friends and drink and dance under the tree.do think about those people luyin in graves in iraq..especially the infants who were rotting in graves over there**

And who are you to say that I dont feel anything for those people? Innocent people are dying there, yes. In Afghanistan too. But you know what? Innocent people died here in the US, due to terrorist attacks - done by so-called "muslims". And you know what's even more sick? Is that there are muslims dying at the hands of other muslims.

I suggest you read up a little on Iraq's civil history - not going back to the last 10 years or so - but waaaay before that. You will find stories that are so disturbing, that it makes you wonder if the Iraqi people are being punished by God. Its plausible, at least.

PyariCgudia - you are right about somethings but i have to ask you something.. where were these American ppl before 911, for these Iraqi ppl? Why didn't America invade Iraq before 911? Is this so called "Freedom of Iraq" war a cause of "insecurity" of American ppl? or just that they had to vent out somewhere?

I felt sad for those who died in 911 attacks but I feel really sad when a Muslim brother or sister of mine does coz that is actually like losing a member of Ummah. No matter what you say to justify those american soldiers in Iraq.. they ALWAYS had a choice ... they could've said NO to this but they didn't ...

May Allah help us get through this tough time (ammeen)

PCG, it is so easy to damn qoute one section of ayyah from quran that suits your desires while puting the rest in the trash isnt it?
here is the ayah you qouted to support american soldiers

Because of that We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land - it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. And indeed, there came to them Our Messengers with clear proofs, evidences, and signs, even then after that many of them continued to exceed the limits (e.g. by doing oppression unjustly and exceeding beyond the limits set by Allâh by committing the major sins) in the land!. (Al-Ma'idah 5:32)

so there you go, killing for the sake of stopping the mischief is incumbent on us, it is not like killing innocents...go it? and i dont know what you are saying about soldiers against the war, is that why bush won majority of the votes? and most soldiers are die hard republicans, feed your crap somehwere else we dont buy it. and if a serial killer feels bad about killing but still kills do we somehow not send him to hell by striking his neck by saying oh atleast he feels bad? your logic is in the gutter and its not gonna help your friends from coming back form iraq missing legs hands or heads...owwww..i feel so excited that they will wish for prosthetics for christmas for their gifts..haha

I'm referring to the killing that muslims do outside of Iraq, and were doing to each other inside Iraq before the US ever set foot in it.
