Re: The Invincible Pashtun Tribes

Nobody cares.

Re: The Invincible Pashtun Tribes

Everyone cares. Pakistanis do care about their Pashtun brothers/sisters, and worry for their welfare at the hands of those who are misguided and misuse the good name of Islam.

Not True!

Yes a Lot of people care!

Re: The Invincible Pashtun Tribes

Were Pashtuns brave when they were slaughtering Hazaras in Afghanistan during the 1890s?

The Hazaras sided with the Invaders ( British) against the Bravehearts Pashtuns so they had to pay for their treachery.

We do Care........Pakistan Does Care!

Re: The Invincible Pashtun Tribes

Pakistan Is proud of its Pashtun tribal People. They are the ones who freed Azad Kashmir from India and we Owe them for that! They are the ones who defeated the Dogra Amry of India and gave us what we call Azad Kashmir.

Hats off......Stand up.......for the brave Pashtuns

Get over it already. That was over 100 years ago.

Well said..its like trying to put Alexander the great on trial for invading Persia. lol

Oh dear God, are you bloody serious?

Hazaras to my knowledge never sided with any foreign powers. Only the Pashtuns hold that distinction.

And even if they did side with the British, does that justify going in to their lands and forcibly convert them to Sunni Islam?

Abdur Rahman Khan did the same thing to the Nuristanis as well, because he didn't like the presence of non-Sunnis in his land.

Why else would there be heaps of Hazaras in Quetta and Mashad?

So was the fall of the corrupt khalifa in 1924, yet many Muslims around the world still whinge and cry about it.

That’s because our beloved prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) has told us of a coming Golden Age of Islam, where there would be a Caliphate again after the fall of caliphates, monarchs, tyrannical rule, and then return to Caliphate on the model of the first one. There’s hadith on this.

too bad they were against the creation of pakistan and have openly revolted against Pakistan and killed Pakistani Army troops

Says who?

The Pashtuns overwhelmingly voted for Pakistan in the provincial elections of 1946. Muslim league won elections there.....Plus when Pakistan army refused to obey orders of Quaid-e-Azam in 1947 ....It were the Pahstun tribes who said " Yes" to Quaid-e-azams command and took Kashmir back from India.
Pakistan army was then led by General Gracy who refused to lanuch an offense on India

Re: The Invincible Pashtun Tribes

Mark my words......Mark the time and date...........

Remained Unconquered during Alexandar's Conquest of Persia

They Defeated the Moguls

They defeated the British

They Defeated the Russians

They defeated the Indians

They going to do it again.................. Bitter-reality on :

*Time stamped : Tuesday April 7,2009 *

AHHH... Makes sense now!

Hmmmmm... When the American attacked Afghanistan, they ran back across the border pretty darn quick.

And last I checked, the best they could do against the Northern alliance was force a stalemate.

Not to undermine the Pashtuns, but this superhuman fighting ability is a load of garbage.

And who are they going to defeat next? Pakistan? America?

And soon they will defeat Pakistan....

Re: The Invincible Pashtun Tribes

I thought according to Islam, nationalism was haraam. :hehe:

It’s actually pretty sad how the myth of invincible and warrior pashtuns has been used by outside ethnicities to control and use them for cannon fodder for their own wars. Russians used them, Americans used, Iranians used them, Pakistanis used them all for their own games.

Thousands of pashtuns from tribes, khasadars, police, FC, and army have been killed by taliban. What does this tell you about the advantages of being a so called warrior or martial race?
