In the 1946 general elections All India Muslim Leauge failed to win a majority from NWFP the cabinet was formed by Congress... , Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan (Grandfather of Isfand-Yar-Wali-Khan) considered to be the greatest pushtun political leader of the 20th Century was a member of congress , he also used to be called Sarhadi Gandhi & was in valiant opposition to Pakistan.., infact he hated Pakistan so much that in his will he said when I die dont burry me in Pakistan..., his will was respected & he is burried in Kabul.
NWFP became part of Pakistan after a plebiscite whose results were never whole heartedly accepted by Abdul Ghaffar Khan.
Afghanistan was the only country that refused to recognize Pakistan.., & it was the only country that opposed the membership of Pakistan in the UN General assembly. Before the invasion of Afghanistan by USSR..., relationship between the government in Kabul & Islamabad were even more strained then the relationship today..., Afghanistan at that time was even more inclined towards India then it is today.
Plus when Pakistan army refused to obey orders of Quaid-e-Azam in 1947 ....It were the Pahstun tribes who said " Yes" to Quaid-e-azams command and took Kashmir back from India.Pakistan army was then led by General Gracy who refused to lanuch an offense on India
Yes its true that Pakistan Army under General Gracy refuse to launch an offensive..., & the tribesman 'volunteered' to free kashmir..., however the offensive was followed by looting..., the tribesman did reach very close to the Srinagar airport..., but as they progressed they got distracted & started looting... the accounts of looting by the tribesman that I am narrating is from Kashmiri families that lived in present day Indian Occupied Kashmir at the time & now live in Pakistan
A little history lesson would fix this racial superiority complex. Didn't the British force Amir Rahman, the Pashtun leader, to cede part of then Afghanistan to British India (present day NWFP)? Pashtuns are still divided by the Durand line that the British created and forced Rahman to accept. Didn't Sikh Army defeated and occupied large parts of Afghanistan? Didn't Pakistan's army defeat Daud's Afghan army in Bajaur? Weren't Hikmatyar's militia defeated by Ahmad Shah Masood? Pashtuns are human beings like all people. This self serving propaganda has brought nothing but war, death and destruction to Pashtuns.
On a side note, are there any Pashtun tribes in present day Iran?

BTW, as someone said, you cant buy pashtoon, but you can rent one. They will go for highest bidder even if its detrimental their own people. Afghanistan is in rubles b/c of their stupidity & if we don’t control invading terrorists Taliban Pakistan soon will be in rubles, too.

BUNER: Taliban killed five people, including three policemen, in clashes with tribesmen and police, officials and witnesses said on Tuesday.

Separately, unidentified men kidnapped a traffic police official at gunpoint from Green Chowk in Mingora and took him to an unidentified location, witnesses said.
Meanwhile, scores of Taliban occupied the hostel of polytechnic college in Mingora. Taliban sources said students had been ordered to leave the hostel, as the Taliban wanted to stay there.

Exactly, it's history that no one should forget about the great love for fellow muslims as displayed by the pakistani army by butchering, raping bengalis. In that war, 90,000 jawans, including brave invincible pashtuns had to surrender and beg in front of india.

Lets clear something, because i am seeing alot of so-called bravery pride for Pashtun's:
1) They are humans but live in cave mentality with barbarism is their best bravery yet known.
**2) **They are not invincible at all, for the starters, have a look at their bravery in Afghanistan and now in Pakistan FATA areas. The land made it hard for foreign forces to take control permantaly, if their is any other reason please let me know. Once upon a time Viking's were also famous, today their are known as Dutch aka Netherlanders. So better come out of this invincible clout as soon as possible. Human bravery has nothing compared to one gun shot. Neither Pak Army lost battle to FATA/NWFP Pashtun's, recent example is Bajour where so-called braver-ism has been defeated by Punjabi/Balouchi/Sindhi soldiers. Our Strategic depth in Afghanistan concept made us not to fight with trouble makers with iron fist, it has nothing to do with Bravery of Talibans either they are pathan or pashtun's .. or hazarars.. or tajiks..and lese.
