also if your intent is really having a good discussion having it in a proper manner may attract other posters who sit out because they dont want to deal with discussions get carried out.

Kashmir is an internationally disputed territory. As stated by the UN. End of discussion. India's claim to Kashmir as an integral part of India is not accepted.

The reason i have not posted this topic in world affairs that i didn't wanted Indian non-sense to be part of this discussion, i have put on the Indian terms of so-called peace in the region, and the point of discussion was and is that if the peace is possible on the terms put on the table by the Indians.
The answer is a big NO. Indians whether they like it or not, have to live with the reality that Pakistan is there to exist and if Pakistan falls, then India shall go down as well... Indians had tried to convince global powers to take the away the nuclear capability of Pakistan, they have armed and trained anti-Pakistan element in the past and they are busy doing it today as well.

As of Now, the region is nuclear flash point and the things have reached at a point where status-quo cannot be maintained, it is that India can delay the process which will only bring further unstable already fragile structure of India.
The answer to the fragile situation of India ( where the Maoist have became headline) is development and lots of development, the development can only take place in peaceful region and not at nuclear flash points... the earlier Indians understand this point the better it will be for them...

very basic almost every indian think all of subcontinent was a part of great india and will be one day again, this only not include Pakistan, but bhutan, nepal, tibet, burma, srilanka, Maldives etc. only then Akhan Bhaharat will be once again formed. Now there is no stop to once thinking. So let them think and dream about it, no harm in it eveyone has right to their own dreams / wet or dry ones.

Kashmir and all the rivers originates from it are disputed. plus even world brokered water treaty is nothing to India, they refrained many years and abide by the rules but since spineless leadership at Pakistan they started taking liberties and stopping water that has been allocated to Pakistan.
India or any such countries will not stop doing such things until they think they can get away with it.
So its not India only responsible for this, they will do it by default. responsibility lies with Pakistani side how they contour such tactics of India.
