That is true. However, I view the bigger problem as being that our country's highest authority (or least what is supposed to be our highest authority under the constitution) is populated with adulterous patrons of whores. The fact that military intelligence assets were used without legal oversight to expose them pales by comparison.

In Pakistan anyone who is in position of power abuses it, judges, generals and politicians alike b/c there is no accountability. So, this doesn't surprise me. Judges who signed on to PCO must have had something to hide.

If judiciary is so corrupt, more than 50% would not have refused PCO and sat home. A corrupt individual never lets go his power.

only corrupt judges have ever taken an oath on PCO.
we need to go back to the pre PCO era (current and previous one) and bring judges from then to staff the courts.
Although in this thread we are not talking about corruption of judges, we are talking about loose moral character.

I personally dont care what the judges do sexually as it is a private matter. What happens between 2 consenting adults behind closed doors is their business - if they are both consenting and both the legal age then theres no real issue.
The whole episode just goes to show that the shadowy intelligencia must be disbanded and power limited. It does not show the judges in a good light but it shows the ISI, the videors and those in connivance as real LOW LIVES. I have no sympathy with those who stoop so low and they are the real people bringing shame to Pakistan. As long as such people are in powerful positions within Pakistan I dont think Pakistan can ever be fair and free.
I think a sex hungry judge is a far better peson than a a person who embezzles the rights of others.

If they fail to so much as abide by Pakistan's laws on capital offenses (such as adultery), what business do they have ruling on constitutional law?

I think what it means is that you can be of any lower moral levels but as long as you are ready to take oath on PCO Mushy would be okay with that.

These judges will not be prosecuted because they most likely are now sitting in SC after taking oath under PCO and will put a legal stamp on emergency.
