I get it -- so the expression is along the lines of whose father owns the road.
Anyway, in BB's case, look at the crowds. An extremely difficult security situation and she did not help matters -- not that I blame her. I mean you can't campaign in a bubble. In this case, however, there were no crowds. We are reading both that the route was closed off the whole way and that there were police all along the route, and we are hearing that no police were anywhere to be seen (except for the ones that died). What is true? I wasn't there, I don't know. I do know that intersection, of course, and judging from the video, it was blocked off -- usually that is a pretty fast roundabout at that hour, being on the way to so many schools.
I don't understand why more police didn't pour in. I don't understand why there was no back-up crew. Except that perhaps the security management were lulled into thinking it was all going to be allright. It was the last match in the series, wasn't it?
2 attacks dude, you forgot the one in Karachi that did not get her, but really the security for someone at that high of a profile has to be super duper you know.
But yes there was something very wrong with this attack on srilanka bus, my view is that maybe people knew but did not want to do anything because of political currency it would get them. I cant believe that Taleban types paid them off, or even if it was an outside agency..that does not explain why the security was so lax. and backup not ready ASAP
yaar fraudiyay, 'top' security hoti to i dont think this would have happened.... The security arrangements were nowhere near adequate...
that was a sarcastic 'top'
but dont these so called rich people get attacked just as much?
the amount of times a robber has broken into my mamoo's home in pak and held people at gunpoint is a crazy... and the guards are all there and everything..
i dont believe that even the rich are safe there... they have so many people within their "security" that can turn corrupt and organise somethign against the one they are supposedly protecting..
depends on your definition of rich because when you look at the real elite, they dont get in harms way much. But yeah the upper middle class types get robbed and kidnapped for ransom and all that jazz, happened in my family too.
