im not in denial about whats happening in pakistan.. but im getting more and more depressed about this horrible picture being painted about pakistanis..
noone is talking about them 5abi... those things arent making headlines..
what's making headlines is how the "some" officers cant even drive and they are in the force.. and how they are trying to save their lives rather than the international umpires..
im talking about whats being reported on... not what is not
write to the editor of the paper where this story is appearing and ask them to print about the 5 that died trying to save idiots like this traufel or whatever his name is and he is lucky to be alive thanks to the five that died
After promising someone 'presidential level security' you have 12 people freely shooting at these poor guys in broad daylight on a busy roundabout for half an hour and then they wander off... And no one came to rescue them. They have every right to be upset.
Why are you feeling upset that someones venting their anger at how incompetent the police and security were?? They decided to tour Pakistan because all kinds of guarantees were given. And we all saw the awesome security arrangements. What has 5 policemen dying in all this got to do with anything?? They died probably because they were sitting ducks. None of them was a hero, they just happened to be the poor souls that were riding on the motorbikes or were just easy targets... Whatever security there was, decided to flee, the bus than drove off to the Stadium could have alerted authorities and they could have acted swiftly... there was a policestation only seconds away from the place of incident.. and no one was there to be seen, until after they finished firing and casually walked off.
Its shameful and people have the right to be angry. Stop defending incompetence.
I get depressed because I care about my stupid country but the truth is security was not tight ,the motorcyclists they never get caught not a single person.Pathetic whenever I read about Pakistan Ifeel sick
OK, I have not heard this expression before -- would you explain it please?
well to trabnslate it will lose the meaning but it was a sarcstic note saying that supposed top security did not save benazir bhutto who was a major political figure a two times PM and would have been a force in pak politics had show not been assassinated...if this so-called top security could not do anything for her, then what is srilankan cricket team in comparison.
Haven’t we learned anything from the Bollywood movies we see all day? I mean, we have Don, Dhoom…all displaying superior detective and policing skills, the cops know how to sing, dance and best of all forsee the unknown and find the godamn villains from 2 miles under the earth. Nothing?
^ maybe cus our policemen dont look like those heroes? maybe if they were all buffed up and paid millions we'd get some niche looking/doing machines to protect the people :)
