When men start going against Islam and abuse the person they were entrusted with, a woman will have no choice but to stand up for herself and do BOTH roles. We all belong to Allah and you are supposed to be a woman’s protector - NOT ABUSER.
If she goes to sleep with a bloody nose, you are failing. If she goes to sleep crying because your parents don’t like her and had to hear them fill your ears with bakwaas, you are failing. If she goes to sleep not knowing her worth and value in your life, you are failing. She is your RESPONSIBILITY and her well being is your primary role as a man. The man is provider…for who? His family…the family that consists of his WIFE and children she births. These are real failures and when you keep abusing a system, eventually it fails. Stop abusing the system and things will be fine.
What are the **responsibilities **of a man? Instead of answering the question with a question, just answer it. This thread is FULL of a woman’s restrictions but I have yet to read a post on GS where a man was actually aware of his duties.
Islam is not misogynistic but Pakistani men have changed the faith and I would not be surprised if they wanted to re-write the Qur’an at some point (Nauzubillah).
