I think women r pushed more to the extreme in the west, where all aspects of gherah and femininity has been scratched out of her in a way, that she no longer wants to act like a woman and looks down upon her role as a woman. Talk of equality..

Can men and women be equal other then in islam, as you claimed in islam they cannot be equal.

Contrary to your belief, women are pushed less here. Women don’t always want to work but that option is available to them if they desire. There is no pressure to stay with abusive men or listen to jaahil maulvi’s who threaten to de-pant women on live TV. There are definitely flaws in the system but if you want to live your life as a single female in the US…no one will bat an eye. If you want to report a crime, it WILL be reported. There IS law enforcement and beating your wife to a pulp is not a domestic issue.

Women in Pakistan need marriages to protect themselves.

As for gherah, have you seen your fashion industry lately? Yeah, pretty be-ghairah I don’t think anyone living in SE Asia can lecture anyone in the world on hayah and gherah when their women can’t even go to the police to report abuse. That is truly shameful and a failed state.
