Inflammation='Sozish' in Urdu/Farsi= Red, painful swelling becuase of ANY injury to tissues. (heat, mechanical, low oxygen, too cold etc)

cancer: a broad term indicating proliferative growth of any tissue in the body. usually in lay-man's terms indicates something malignant ie something that spreads

ok let me give it a try..

hypertension also known as high blood pressure, either due to increased blood volume or constriction of blood vessels leading to increased pressure on the blood vessels. Normal blood pressure for adults is 120/80 mmHg

CDG, I was going to say that hypertension is the medical term used to describe high blood pressure that needs medical intervention for its control...???

^ Yes in many cases it is true but not always.

HTN can be treated with non-medical/non-pharmacologic ways to some extent if not too high or at risky level.

Diet, weight, exercise (Iso-tonic), "psychologic suggestions" help reduce HTN severity. Additional medications are most often required if other risks to health are present also.

Yea I think all doctors, unfortunately are trained to give meds, should first allow the patient to change their lifestyle before prescribing meds (only if its not dangerously high ofcourse).
