I am reading the books (now on book 4) and just started watching the show (now on Ep. 8 of Season 1).

I think if you read the books you can appreciate the execution of the scenes and the scenery even more. I love how they showed the wall to be..it was just as I imagined. And I really find the scenes of the Dothraks are like what people must have imagined.

Anyone know when the book 6 is coming out?

I watched the rest of season 2. Interesting. Loved Dany's theme from season 1 being used at the end of season 2, with a slight twist. I hear that book 3 is being split into two seasons, and I'm guessing that the next season will end with the RW.
