I think they want to keep it close to reality…though some scenes were pretty unnecessary but then a lot of people watch tv shows just for the saucy scenes.

Makes it hard for me watch, cause my screens in the living room(I'm 22 for god's sake). The minimize hkey comes in handy though.

I still find some scenes very disturbing...specially the ones with Theon Greyjoy. I hate him.

Yes, I'm reading the 4th book. You should try the books...they're quite good, in fact, much better than the tv series.
