The Game of Thrones

Re: The Game of Thrones

Great third episode.

Re: The Game of Thrones

Plan to watch 2&3 tonight.

Re: The Game of Thrones

Finally caught up with all episodes...

Re: The Game of Thrones

Why did they change Asha's name to Yarah?

Re: The Game of Thrones

To avoid confusion. In the book that wildling who attacked Bran (and was later captured) was called Osha, and Theon's sister was Asha. The names were too similar for TV viewers I guess.

Re: The Game of Thrones

^ Ah, I guess that makes sense. I liked the casting. She played her well (tho that's not how I had pictured her).

Re: The Game of Thrones

My sister can’t stomach it either. She watches it in fast forward or with her eyes closed. LOL

Re: The Game of Thrones

You know, I think if I hadn't read the books (and therefore had a better sense of the big picture), I probably would've stopped watching by now.

Re: The Game of Thrones

I want to buy the Kaleesi t-shirt from the HBO website. Sooo tempted!

Re: The Game of Thrones

I havent read the books. And I dont wanna stop watching it. Its THAT amazing!

fourth episode scene when Tyrion confronts Joffrey about humiliating Sensa was brilliant!

Re: The Game of Thrones

^ Did you like the scene that followed too? :hmmm:

Re: The Game of Thrones

Tyrion is such a dick, I love it. I also liked the scene with Pycelle, “there are no goats halfman” :rotfl:

:hehe:

Re: The Game of Thrones

I found this today. Amazing.

Re: The Game of Thrones

I'm dreading what's coming...

Re: The Game of Thrones

I can see the similarities between Ned Stark and Al Gore. LOL

Winter is coming.

Sarah and Danny? Nah. Sarah Palin is evil. I’d say Sarah and Cersei go together very well. And Bush is more of a Theon than Hodor.

I found this a while ago…found it hilarious

Re: The Game of Thrones

Season is now in full flow. Greyjoy is the stupidest of them all.

Re: The Game of Thrones

This was the best episode of the season
I know they have done a lot of changes but these changes will benefit the non readers and readers of the book as I always use to wonder why the hell robb just woke up one day and married some one who was never mentioned before or what made arya so stupid to not ask jaquen to kill lord tywin instead of all these chotay motay ppl. Now the way they are developing the story it’s actually closing some open ends which makes it better then the book.

I just wonder how will they manage separating bran and rickon in the up coming seasons as bran was suppose to go with reeds who are not yet mentioned in this season.

Still not impressed with dany, her lines, her story; the writers have simple wasted her.

btw jon’s reluctance to spooning scenes were so cute  and jaqen is just mmmmmmmmmmm

p.s. the image of tonks has tarnished like for ever for me :frowning:

Re: The Game of Thrones

^ LOL I was thinking the same thing about Tonks!!

I didn't expect Jaqen to be so dreamy either :p.

I was hoping to meet the Reeds too. Unless it's just going to be Bran and Hodor?

And yeah, i think the changes aren't too problematic yet.

And yes, Jon Snow and Ygritte were hilarious.

I like Dany. I like that she is coming of age and has youthful innocence but also a lot of passion and power.

Re: The Game of Thrones

As far as I remember:
The girl Rob married was a princess and she seduced him.

Lord Tywin hardly stayed in Harrenhal during Arya’s capture.

Re: The Game of Thrones

Spoilers^ No. She was the daughter of one of the lord's. He slept with her for comfort after hearing bad news then felt the only honorable thing to do was marry her.
