I've sometimes seen this too but I have not asked them why they are dressed up, so I can't be too sure. I know I myself have dressed up but that was before going to McD (with cousins) and others looking at me through the same glasses might think that I actually dressed up for McD but it was for something else BEFORE McD. Same might be the case for others.

No, they do dress up. I was in Karachi once and was invited out to go to Pizza hut by a cousin. When they came to pick me up they were all dressed up. I was in jeans and tshirt and they were like, is that how you're going to go?

McDonald's here is like so lame and run-down...over there it's really well-maintained and they always have customers. I was there on New Year's Eve and the place was packed with a really long line... :D

damn now i ma go get me some rite now // and i think it barely opened 5-6 yrs ago in pakistan .. 10 yrs ago is def a no and on top of all that i think mcchiken is stillll better here locally then paki one .. and yes i eat jhatka .. shoot me.

The first ever M.C.Donalds (as reema puts it) that the one in the park towers right? now there are like so many branches in Karachi. Three - Four are in clifton area only..i.e. Park Towers, Sea View, and Gulf bazaar...and i have seen a few here and there as well.
