The Final Raindown - Pak vs Aus in Amstelveen

Get your umbrellas out, raincoats in, or just go navel-naked…this is probably, the match of the summer - PAKISTAN, the team that beat the so-called Number 2 twice in the past month versus the undoubted Champions of modern day cricket - AUSTRALIA.

It’s Bubloo’s Boys versus Ponting’s Puppoos.

I think it’s about time cricket should be played Rugby-style … rain or shine, the game goes on. I say, we should play on a soaking wet wicket - the conditions will be the same for both teams, so what’s the big deal?

Common Pakistan, time to put fear in the rest of the cricket playing nations right before the ICC Champions Trophy.

what u pplz says?

heyy funguy... so we finally settled with a GS nick name of bob woolmer.. bubloo sounds great...... you know what.. we should go to his website and tell him what we all think about him as a great coach and what he brings to the team... just want him to know that we as pakistanis love him very much.... and also tell him that you are our(gupshup's) bubloo :D

anyways let see what we do in the final..... my hopes are very high this time... just beating india twice a month... i actually felt like we can beat anyone :p

so go pakis goo............. aussies are no better than you... you can still beat em... just focus... and play your best..... rest leave it on Allah and prayers of all 14 karoor awaamm... and i hope this time our indian brother/sister prayers should be with us too :p :D

funguy.... when is the final.

Get your calculators out, folks. By the way, when can we shoot the chairman of this Dutch Cricket Council (or whoever had the bright idea of this "tournament")

Nahiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! :teary1:

I still think this is the best tournament so far.

Mairay 95.95 dollars wasool hogayay hein..and it will be a bonus for me if there is a final :D

According to BBC its the opposite…

BBC tau andha hai. ussay kiya pata. Don’t believe me? Check **this** out. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I still wana keep my hopes up with a sunny day on saturday :snooty:

-Salman

They have a spare day between matches.. why dont they use that instead of abondoning the matches?

if the final is washed out, then pakistan ends with 12 points, australia with 9 and india with 3....

hence, pakistan shud be decalred winners and the cup handed over to them....

:hehe: What an embarrasing end of the tournament it would be for the organizers.

hopefully no more cricket will be held in holland in future after this. how funny is this, pakistan wins the tournament w/o even a single ball bowled in the finals hahaha
oh and btw, all those people that purchased the tickets to see these rained out matches, do they get the refund?? i know that those in US who paid to see this on dish network wont get diddly squat back :p

^^ UNFORTUNATELY, I'm afraid no international cricket will be played in Holland anymore :(

And no, they didnt get their money back...

The weather looks good today. I think they are working on the pitch at the moment and hopefully the weather will be good on Saturday as well.

Here is a link for live happening at the ground:

Now you tell us! :hoonh:

I’ll bookmark this link and any time I want to see some rain, I will click on it :bhangra wala icon:

On Bob Woolmer's website, it says Moin Khan calls him Big Daddy. :)

I hope it doesn't rain. it looks bad but keep your fingers crossed.
