did anyone try the fat smashing diet by dr.smith or the 4-day diet by him?
i heard from nadia khan show that this 4-day diet does miracles!

I went on a low carb diet and lost a stone in about a month, but the great thing is despite I'm eating carbs again albeit fewer of them, my weight has remained steady. The idea was to re-introduce carbs 1 at a time, and monitor how it affects you. I know white bread is evil for me, but white rice not so bad
It's similar to South Beach I guess.
When I was doing P1 of my diet I was eating eggs for breakfast everyday (and still do - but I like eggs, so no issue for me).
Lunch was:
salad with some kind of protein, i.e. seekh kebabs, tandoori chicken, etc, or
warming homemade soup, or
fritatta/spanish omlette's with salad
Dinner was a bit harder without Roti or rice, but not impossible. Here's some ideas:
faux' cauliflower rice i.e grated cauliflower either heated in a microwave, or stirfried with some masala. It doesn't taste like rice but does give you something to eat salan with and stops you feeling like you're missing out.
Or a cauliflower or celeriac mash - again taste's good with a curry on top.
Keema, I stuffed either a courgette or pepper with it, so I had something with more substance
A lot of kebabs/grilled chicken/tikka/tandoori chicken with salad
Celeriac chips - instead of potato chips/fries
Stirfries minus the noodles - or with shredded cabbage or beansprouts instead
Bowlfuls of daal - yum. But be careful as lentils can be quite carby, so monitor how it affects your weight.
Snacks were often:
Cheese
Nuts (no salt) -- be careful how much you consume
Prawns with a dip
Guacamole with cucumber or something
The thing with a low carb diet is you do need to eat fat, so low-fat food doesn't work.

u can loose 1kg every week
i m dieting and i loose 1 kg every week and its not hard
i've heard from some people that green tea actually made it harder for them to lose weight and they actually gained a few pounds drinking it regularly which totally sucks and is the opposite of what's usually said about green tea

here is a diet
anyone can follow it
eat whatever you want, as much as you want, whenever you want
nihari, pulao, ras malai, tikkay, charghay, cake
eat till u cant eat any more
in 10 days u will have lost 10 lbs
oh yeah forgot one thing, everytime u eat drink water before and after each meal, one full glass
oh and one minor detail, the water must be tap water from karachi.
now go forth and slim down y'all

Yeah yeah we all know that it's best to go slow and steady, with the perfect balance of diet and exercise, eating right and all that.
But let's say you have to be at a wedding in 2 weeks and you need to get a few, say 5-10 lbs off, share some success stories on achieving that please.
6-8 lbs is pretty Doable by exercising imho.
Statistically, 2 hours a day = 2lbs a day. 1 hour a day = 1lb a day. And If you watch that diet and be slightly below your maintenance caloric levels (Calculated by Current height/Current weight) You can definitely achieve better results.

the best way is shock system diet.....you eat for 3 days and live on water for the 2 days.

Depriving the body from necessary nutrients for 2 days is just going to make matters worse imho. No short cuts in gaining quality muscle or losing quantity of fat.

What's the easiest way, I dont know coz I never came across anyone who lost weight so soon. Yeah, I know one young girl who was very conscious about her figure. She used to go on complete dieting for 2-3 days, but later she fainted too. Right now mashallah she is mother of 2 normal kids.
I dont think dieting / starving is the best option.
